2013 PGA Tour Latinoamérica
The 2013 PGA Tour Latinoamérica, titled as the 2013 NEC Series-PGA Tour Latinoamérica for sponsorship reasons, was the second season of PGA Tour Latinoamérica, the main professional golf tour in Latin America, operated and run by the PGA Tour. Changes for 2013 The 2013 season was the first full season on the tour with the 2012 season having only operated for four months in 2012. The 2013 schedule was divided into two distinct swings, the first with events played from March through May, followed by the remainder of events in the October through December. The number of events increased from 11 in 2012 to 14 with, new events for the 2013 season were, Abierto Mexicano de Golf, Abierto del Centro and Abierto de Chile. It was also the first season in which the Developmental Series was introduced. Ryan Blaum
Ryan Stephen Blaum (born October 16, 1983) is an American professional golfer who currently plays on the PGA Tour, having previously played on Korn Ferry Tour, PGA Tour Latinoamérica and the NGA Pro Golf Tour. Amateur career Blaum played college golf at Duke University and was named as Duke University's Most Valuable Player and the Atlantic Coast Conference Rookie of the Year during the 2002-03 season. He followed this by being named the Atlantic Coast Conference Player of the Year in the 2004–05 season. Blaum has also participated four times in the U.S. Amateur reaching the second round in 2001 and 2005. Manuel Villegas (golfer)
Manuel Villegas Restrepo (born 3 December 1984) is a Colombian professional golfer who currently plays on the Korn Ferry Tour and PGA Tour Latinoamérica. He is also the brother of PGA Tour player Camilo Villegas. Professional career After graduating from the University of Florida in 2007, Villegas turned professional in 2008 and marked his professional debut with a win at the 2008 Colombian Open. Personal Classic
The Argentina Classic is a men's professional golf tournament held in Argentina and has been part of the PGA Tour Latinoamérica schedule since 2012. The tournament was first played on PGA Tour Latinoamérica in December 2012 as the "Olivos Golf Classic-Copa Personal" and was held at Olivos Golf Club. The inaugural winner of the event was Ariel Cañete. In the 2013 season the event moved to La Reserva Cardales and following a sponsorship deal with the telecommunications company BlackBerry the tournament was renamed as the "Personal Classic presentado por BlackBerry". Julián Oscar Etulain (born 21 June 1988) is an Argentine professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour. Amateur career Before turning professional in 2008, Etulain had won the Argentine Amateur Championship and had represented Argentina at a number of events including the 2008 Eisenhower Trophy. Professional career In 2009, Etulain was named as the Tour de las Américas Rookie of the Year in his first full season as a professional golfer. The Brazil Open or Aberto do Brasil is an annual golf tournament held in Brazil. It was founded in 1945 and was an event on the Tour de las Américas on several occasions, most recently in 2005. Puerto Rico Classic
The Puerto Rico Classic was a men's professional golf tournament hosted by the Puerto Rico Golf Association and was an event on PGA Tour Latinoamérica from 2012 to 2013.
