Juqueri State Park
The Juqueri State Park ( pt, Parque Estadual do Juqueri) is a state park in the state of São Paulo, Brazil. It protects one of the last remnants of cerrado in the São Paulo metropolitan region, as well as areas of Atlantic Forest. In August 2021 a fire burnt half of the Land of the park. Riodinidae is the family of metalmark butterflies. The common name "metalmarks" refers to the small, metallic-looking spots commonly found on their wings. The 1532 species are placed in 146 genera. Although mostly Neotropical in distribution, the family is also represented both in the Nearctic, Palearctic, Australasian ('' Dicallaneura''), Afrotropic ('' Afriodinia'', '' Saribia''), and Indomalayan realms.
