Regīna Razuma
Regīna Razuma (born Regīna Vesere; 22 September 1951 – 14 May 2023) was a Latvian actress and ballerina. Biography Razuma was born into a large family in Riga on 22 September 1951. In 1968, she graduated from the Riga Choreographic School. From 1968 to 1974, Razuma was a ballerina of the Daile State Song and Dance Ensemble. In 1971, she began acting in films. She retired as a ballerina in 1975. From 1975 to 1978 she studied at the People's Film Actor Studio at the Riga Film Studio. In 1982, she graduated from the acting department of the theater department of the Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music. From 1980 to 1992 she was an actress at the Dailes Theatre. From 1992 to 2023, she was an actress at the New Riga Theatre New Riga Theatre ( lv, Jaunais Rīgas teātris) is a theatre in Riga, Latvia. It was established in 1992. Riga (; lv, Rīga , liv, Rīgõ) is the capital and largest city of Latvia and is home to 605,802 inhabitants which is a third of Latvia's population. The Latvian Soviet Socialist Republic (Latvian SSR), also known as Soviet Latvia or simply Latvia, was a federated republic within the Soviet Union, and formally one of its 16 (later 15) constituent republics. Riga Film Studio
Riga Film Studio ( lv, Rīgas kinostudija, russian: Рижская киностудия, Rizhskaya kinostudiya) is a Latvian film production company based in Riga and founded in 1940 on the basis of the earlier private film companies. In 1948, the Riga Documentary Film Studio was founded. In 1970–80, the company produced 10-15 films a year, providing work for 1,000 employees. Currently, there are no major filmings. The studio earns by leasing its facilities, offering expert services, and licensing films to distribution in Riga. Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music ( lv, Jāzepa Vītola Latvijas Mūzikas akadēmija), formerly the Riga Conservatory, is a higher education establishment of music at 1 Barona Street, Riga, Latvia. The junior institute is the Emīls Dārziņš Music School. History Latvian Conservatory of Music was founded in 1919 by the Latvian composer Jāzeps Vītols, who also became the first director of the Latvian National Opera. He remained director until 1944, excepting 1935-1937 when the director was his choral assistant Pauls Jozuus. There were junior and senior courses that covered around 9 to 10 academic years. The Dailes Theatre ( lv, Dailes teātris) is a professional Latvian theater founded by Latvian director and actor Eduards Smiļģis (1886-1966) on November 19, 1920 at the Craftsmen Relief Society House at Lāčplēša Street 25, Riga, Latvia.
