Reb Beach
Richard Earl "Reb" Beach Jr. (born August 31, 1963) is an American rock guitarist. He is a member of the bands Winger and Whitesnake. Career After graduating from Fox Chapel Area High School and attending Berklee College of Music in the early 1980s, he played in Fiona's backing band and became an accomplished studio musician, working with the likes of Howard Jones, Chaka Khan, The Bee Gees, Twisted Sister, and Roger Daltrey, among others, showcasing Beach's ability to adapt to various musical styles. While working with Fiona, he was introduced to Kip Winger, who was touring with Alice Cooper at the time. Eventually they formed the band Sahara along with Rod Morgenstein and Paul Taylor, which was later renamed to Winger. Roger Harry Daltrey (born 1 March 1944) is an English singer, musician and actor. He is a co-founder and the lead singer of the rock band The Who. Kelly Dean Keagy (born September 15, 1952) is an American drummer and co-lead vocalist, best known for his work with Night Ranger. Douglas Theodore Pinnick (born September 3, 1950), sometimes stylized as dUg Pinnick or simply dUg, is an American musician best known as the bass guitarist, co-lead vocalist, and songwriter for the hard rock and progressive metal band King's X. King's X
King's X is an American rock band that originated in 1979 in Springfield, Missouri. They were first called The Edge and later became Sneak Preview before settling on its current name in 1985. ''Pull'' is the third studio album by American rock band Winger. The album was released in 1993 by Atlantic Records. It was produced by Mike Shipley on a considerable budget and marked a significant change in Winger's sound, eschewing their glam metal anthems prevalent in their first two albums for a harder and more aggressive style of music with a good dose of socio-political leanings on tracks like "Blind Revolution Mad", "In for the Kill" and "Who's the One". ''In the Heart of the Young'' (also known as ''Winger II'') is the second studio album by the American rock band Winger. It was released by Atlantic Records in 1990. Beau Hill produced the album. Although coming out at the decline of the glam metal scene in the U.S., the release was a commercial success, prompting additional touring by the group. The album was certified platinum and produced such hits as " Can't Get Enuff", " Easy Come Easy Go" and " Miles Away", the latter reaching the Top 20 in the Billboard's single chart. ''Winger'' is the debut studio album by American rock band Winger. The album was released through Atlantic Records in 1988 and was produced by Beau Hill. Background The music was radio-friendly, but with a progressive twist. The lyrics, however, were typical of the age and genre. The name "Sahara" appears in the lower right hand section of the album cover. The band initially wanted to call themselves "Sahara", but that name was taken by another band at the time. Though they ultimately chose the name Winger, "Sahara" remained on the cover. A number of radio and video hits were extracted from the album, including "Headed for a Heartbreak" and " Seventeen", peaking at No. 19 and No. 26 at the '' Billboard''s single chart.
