Rajshri Productions is an Indian film production and film distribution, distribution company based in Mumbai, India, established in 1947, which is primarily involved in producing Hindi films. History Rajshri Productions, the film production division of Rajshri, was established in 1947. Its first release ''Aarti (film), Aarti'' met with critical acclaim and was screened at international film festivals. This was followed by ''Dosti (1964 film), Dosti'', a non-star-cast film which became a box office success, and received the National Award for the Best Hindi Film of the Year (1964) and six Filmfare Awards. ''Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!'' (''HAHK'', ) is a 1994 Indian Hindi-language musical romantic drama film written and directed by Sooraj Barjatya and produced by Rajshri Productions. Tarachand Barjatya (10 May 1914 – 21 September 1992) was an Indian film producer. He has produced many Hindi films from the 1960s through to the 1980s. He founded Rajshri Productions which continues to produce films even today. His mainstay was family-oriented films based on family values. Sooraj R. Barjatya (born 22 February 1964) is an Indian filmmaker who works in Hindi cinema. He has directed and produced some of the List of highest-grossing Hindi films, most commercially successful Hindi films. His films often include themes of familial ties and values, and are rooted in traditional Culture of India, Indian culture.
