Chitchor
''Chitchor'' () is a 1976 Indian Hindi romantic musical film, written and directed by Basu Chatterjee. The film is a Rajshri Productions film produced by Tarachand Barjatya. It is based on a Bengali story, ''Chittachakor'' by Subodh Ghosh. K. J. Yesudas and Master Raju won the National Film Awards 1976 for Best Male Playback Singer and Best Child Artist respectively. The film was remade in Telugu as ''Ammayi Manasu'' , in Malayalam as ''Minda Poochakku Kalyanam'' and in Tamil as ''Ullam Kavarntha Kalvan''. It was also an inspiration for the 1997 Bengali film ''Sedin Chaitramas'' and the 2003 film ''Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon''. Basu Chatterjee
Basu Chatterjee ( bn, বাসু চ্যাটার্জ্জী; 10 January 1927 – 4 June 2020) was an Indian film director and screenwriter. Through the 1970s and 1980s, Chatterjee became associated with what came to be known as middle cinema or middle-of-the-road cinema filmmakers, such as Hrishikesh Mukherjee and Basu Bhattacharya, whom he assisted on ''Teesri Kasam'' (1966). Hemlata (singer)
Hemlata (born 16 August 1954) is an Indian classically trained playback singer in Bollywood. She is best known for her songs in the late 1970s, especially Ankhiyon Ke Jharokhon Se song. She was nominated for Filmfare Best Female Playback Award five times in the period of 1977–81 and won once for Chitchor in 1977 for her classical rendition of "Tu Jo Mere Sur Mein" which was duet with K.J. Fahim Ajani or Raju Shrestha, initially credited as Master Raju or Master Rajoo, is an Indian film and television actor, who started his film career as a child actor, in the 1970s. Vijayendra Ghatge is an Indian actor in Bollywood film and television. He is known for his role of Lala Vrishbhaan in the TV serial ''Buniyaad'' that originally aired on DD National in 1986. ''Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon'' (English: ''I am crazy about Prem''), is a 2003 Indian Hindi-language romantic comedy drama film by Sooraj Barjatya and produced by Rajshri Productions. Tarachand Barjatya (10 May 1914 – 21 September 1992) was an Indian film producer. He has produced many Hindi films from the 1960s through to the 1980s. He founded Rajshri Productions which continues to produce films even today. His mainstay was family-oriented films based on family values. He was born in Kuchaman City in Rajasthan in a Marwari Jain Family in 1914. He studied at Vidyasagar College, Calcutta. He established Rajshri Pictures (P) Ltd. in 1947.
