She has been YouTube's most-watched female streamer since 2020, and appeared on ''Forbes''' 30 Under 30 list in 2022. She was named "Gaming Creator of the Year" by ''Adweek'', and has won a Game Award and a Streamy Award. Hofstetter is a co-owner of 100 Thieves, an esports and an apparel company, and has been a content creator for the brand since 2018. An online streamer or live streamer is a person who broadcasts themselves online through a live stream to an audience. History Streaming arose in the early 2010s, originating on sites like YouTube where users could upload videos of themselves in the form of vlogs or Let's Plays. While not all content featured a live audience, users were still able to gain a sizable following and make a living off of their content. Other sites like Twitch increased this popularity.
