Quebec Route 201
Route 201 is a north/south provincial highway within the Canadian province of Quebec, running between Route 202 in Franklin (near the Canada–US border) and Route 342 in Rigaud. Its total length is approximately 70 kilometres. Route 201 links Salaberry-de-Valleyfield with Autoroute 20 using the Monseigneur Langlois Bridge to cross the Saint Lawrence River. It is among the four primary or secondary highways to cross the Saint Lawrence River and is the only 200 series highway to be partly north of that river. Franklin County, New York
Franklin County is a county on the northern border of the U.S. state of New York. To the north across the Canada–United States border are the Canadian provinces of Quebec and Ontario, from east to west. As of the 2020 census, the county population was 47,555. Its county seat is Malone. The county is named in honor of United States Founding Father Benjamin Franklin. Franklin County comprises the Malone, NY Micropolitan Statistical Area. This is a list of the regional county municipalities (RCM or MRC) and equivalent territories (TE) in the province of Quebec, Canada. They are given along with their geographical codes as specified by the Ministry of Municipal Affairs, Regions and Land Occupancy, and the administrative regions to which they belong. RCMs are county-like units of government at the supralocal level. However, not all municipalities belong to an RCM. In order to use RCMs for statistical purposes, some municipalities (mostly Indian reserves) are viewed as belonging to RCMs they do not belong to legally. Quebec Route 132
Route 132 is the longest highway in Quebec. It follows the south shore of the Saint Lawrence River from the border with the state of New York in the hamlet of Dundee (connecting with New York State Route 37 (NY 37) via NY 970T, an unsigned reference route, north of Massena), west of Montreal to the Gulf of Saint Lawrence and circles the Gaspé Peninsula. This highway is known as the Navigator's Route. It passes through the Montérégie, Centre-du-Québec, Chaudière-Appalaches, Bas-Saint-Laurent and Gaspésie regions of the province. Unlike the more direct Autoroute 20, which it shadows from Longueuil to Sainte-Luce, Route 132 takes a more scenic route which goes through many historic small towns. Sainte-Marthe, Quebec
Sainte-Marthe is a municipality located in the Vaudreuil-Soulanges Regional County Municipality of Quebec, Canada. The population as of the 2021 Canadian census was 1,014. The local economy is based almost exclusively on agriculture. History Settlement began in 1835 with the arrival of Irish immigrants. In 1846, the parish was founded and named after Martha, the sister of Lazarus, since the neighbouring parish was called Saint-Lazare. That same year, the Municipality of Sainte Marthe was created out of the Municipality of Rigaud, but abolished on September 1, 1847. In 1851, its post office opened. On July 1, 1855, the municipality was reestablised, which became a parish municipality in 1857. In 1928, the village itself separated from the surrounding rural parish and became the Village Municipality of Sainte-Marthe.
