Purushan Kadalundy
Purushan Kadalundy (born 15 November 1957; Kadalundi) is a member of 13th Kerala Legislative Assembly. He belongs to Communist Party of India (Marxist) and represents Balussery constituency. Political and literary life He started his political career through K.S.Y.F. He was arrested for presenting the play ''Pattini'' (hunger) during national emergency. He has received Jyothi Bahulae National Award of Kendra Dalit Sahitya Academy (2002), Abu Dhabi Sakthi Award (2005), Sreekantan Nair Smaraka Puraskaram, V.K. Krishana Menon Award, Thoppil Bhasi Award and National Safety Award. He has served as the secretary of Kerala Sahitya Academy. Presently, he is the state vice president of Purogamana Kala Sahitya Sangam and member of Samskarika Kshemanithi Board. Kadalundi
Kadalundi is a village in Kozhikode district, Kerala, India. It is a coastal village close to the Arabian Sea. Kadalundi is famous for its bird sanctuary, which is home to various migratory birds during certain seasons and has been recently declared as a bio-reserve. The Kadalundi-Vallikkunnu community reserve is the first community reserve in Kerala. The Kadalundi River and the Chaliyar river, two of the longest rivers of Kerala, merges with the Arabian Sea at Kadalundi. Chevarambalam
Chevarambalam is a suburb of Kozhikode city. This residential layout lies between the Mavoor Road and the Wayanad Road. Important landmarks ''Arulappadu Devi Temple'', ''Unni Rarichan Temple'' and ''Subramania Temple'' are prominent places of worship in Chevarambalam. Chevarambalam junction has four roads converging into a small town with Ruby Restaurant at its center. One road takes goes to Vellimadukunnu junction in the north. Another one goes to Iringadan Pally paddy fields. The roads going to the southwest connects with the Thondayad junction and Kudil Thodu area. Kozhikode (), also known in English as Calicut, is a city along the Malabar Coast in the state of Kerala in India. Balussery
Balussery is a major developing town located about 25 km northeast of Kozhikode, Kozhikode city and lies on the sides of State Highway 34. It is one of the largest 140 assembly constituencies in Kerala and one of the 12 block Panchayats in Kozhikode district. Balussery is the Northeast side entry of Calicut city. ''The New Indian Express'' is an Indian English-language broadsheet daily newspaper published by the Chennai-based Express Publications.
