Chevarambalam
Chevarambalam is a suburb of Kozhikode city. This residential layout lies between the Mavoor Road and the Wayanad Road. Important landmarks ''Arulappadu Devi Temple'', ''Unni Rarichan Temple'' and ''Subramania Temple'' are prominent places of worship in Chevarambalam. Chevarambalam junction has four roads converging into a small town with Ruby Restaurant at its center. One road takes goes to Vellimadukunnu junction in the north. Another one goes to Iringadan Pally paddy fields. The roads going to the southwest connects with the Thondayad junction and Kudil Thodu area. The road going to southeast is called Golf Link Road and it connects Chevarambalam with Chevayur junction near the leprosy hospital and the vehicle testing grounds. Chevarambalam has become a prominent residential locality of Kozhikode city. Chevayur
Kozhikode East is a suburb of Kozhikode city in India. Kozhikode East includes areas outside the city jurisdiction but they are still closely associated with the city in terms of commerce and everyday life. Location Kozhikode East mainly includes area covered by the Wayanad Road from Vellimadukunnu to Kunnamangalam. The term Mavoor Road is used only for the stretch of the road from Mananchira to Calicut Medical College. The remaining part of the road up to Mavoor village is also considered as Kozhikode East. Kottooly and Pottammal are two nearby junctions on the eastern side of Kozhikode city in India. They are at a distance of 650 meters. The Mavoor Road originates from Mananchira area in downtown Calicut and proceeds to Arayidathu-palam junction through the KSRTC bus station and the new bus station areas. Kottooly Junction After Arayidathupalam, Kottooly is the main junction where the road to the north is called K.T.Gopalan Road which connects to Vellimadukunnu area. The road on the south connects to Kuthiravattam Mental Hospital on Puthiyara Road ''(Angattil Damodaran Nair Road)'' and connects to Govindapuram, Kozhikode and Mankavu through the Balakrishnan Road. Thondayad Junction
Thondayad Junction is an important intersection of Kozhikode city, India. This junction connects the city to the eastern town of Kozhikode District so the traffic is heavy. The junction also connects to the northern and southern cities of Kerala by express roads. History 100 years ago the beach area were the centre of Kozhikode city. In the 1970s the downtown shifted to Mananchira area and again, in the 1980s, Mavoor Road became the centre of attraction.
