Psychedelic Desert is a noise ambient group from Osaka, Japan. Psychedelic Desert's music ranges from ambient drone soundscapes to layers of fluctuating sounds which stimulate the brainwaves of the listener. The band toured in Australia in 2008 and performed on two European tours and on various festivals in 2008 - 2010 (France, Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Slovenia, Netherlands) and released several albums, EPs and appeared on Pharmafabrik compilation albums Fabriksampler with artists Lull, Final, Nordvargr, KK Null and remixed a track for PureH on the album Signia. The band also host special music installation events called Liquid Beat Hotel in Otoya, Kobe Kobe ( , ; officially , ) is the capital city of Hyōgo Prefecture Japan. Lull is a dark ambient project of former Napalm Death drummer Mick Harris, which he founded in 1990. History Mick Harris began the project Lull in 1990, when he acquired a sampler, a reverb pedal and a 4-track recorder. After leaving the grindcore band Napalm Death, Harris wanted to create dark ambient music. Aaron Turner of Isis and Mamiffer described the Lull album ''Way through Staring'' as "the first really minimal music I encountered that really captivated me". Final (band)
Final is a project of English musician Justin Broadrick, creator of the band Godflesh, which he started when he was 13 years old. Unlike Godflesh, Final is primarily electronic in nature, taking on a space-like, dark ambient sound. History Originally project was formed in 1982 as a power electronics/industrial duo of Justin Broadrick and Andy Swan (who Broadrick met at the city's Rag Market and both shared an interest in power electronics and industrial bands such as Throbbing Gristle, Ramleh and Whitehouse) under name Atrocity Exhibition. KK Null
, known by his stage name KK Null, is a Japanese experimental multi-instrumentalist active since the early 1980s. He began as a guitarist but learned how to compose, sing, play drums, and create electronic music. He also studied Butoh dance at Min Tanaka's workshop. KK Null joined the noise / progressive rock band YBO2 in 1984, issuing several albums and EPs throughout the remainder of the decade. Later he founded bands, such as Absolut Null Punkt (a.k.a. ANP) and the most well known, a self-described "progressive hardcore trio", Zeni Geva. PureH
PureH is a Slovenian electronic music group formed in 1993, when their first tape ''Inertia'' appeared. Before that they were gathering experiences as musicians in several bands (Extreme Smoke, D.T.W., Patareni, etc.) The group initially consisted of a producer and video artist. After performing at the festival Break21, the group was joined by a drummer, guitarist and bass player. PureH have appeared on various compilation CDs, festivals, TV/radio commercials, World exhibition Expo 2000 and have received Bumerang 2000 alternative music award for experimental music. The remix album ''Signia'' was released in 2007 with artists KK Null, Eraldo Bernocchi, Surgeon, Psychedelic Desert, Chris Wood, P.C.M. and others.
