Daniel Buess
Daniel Buess (28 January 1976 – 10 March 2016) was a Swiss drummer, percussion player and sound artist from Basel. Biography He studied percussion at the Musikhochschule Basel with Siegfried Schmid and with Isao Nakamura in Karlsruhe. His studies included the traditional south Indian percussion-music, specially the Mridangam from 1995 till 1998 and the Arabic percussion music during a three months residency in Cairo, Egypt from November 2007 till January 2008. He also worked as a percussion teacher at the Musikakademie Basel for many years. Daniel Buess was involved in various groups and Ensembles in the realm of experimental and improvised music, such as the Ensemble Phoenix Basel of which he was a co-founder. Final (band)
Final is a project of English musician Justin Broadrick, creator of the band Godflesh, which he started when he was 13 years old. Unlike Godflesh, Final is primarily electronic in nature, taking on a space-like, dark ambient sound. History Originally project was formed in 1982 as a power electronics/industrial duo of Justin Broadrick and Andy Swan (who Broadrick met at the city's Rag Market and both shared an interest in power electronics and industrial bands such as Throbbing Gristle, Ramleh and Whitehouse) under name Atrocity Exhibition. They released few tapes on Post Mortem Rekordings, Justin Broadrick's own cassette label (started in 1982 and ended in 1986). Mike Browning
Michael George Browning (born May 26, 1964) is an American heavy metal drummer and vocalist. Life and career Browning started to play drums at 13 years old. His main influences are Black Sabbath, Slayer, Angel Witch, Mercyful Fate, and Celtic Frost. Browning was the former drummer/vocalist for death metal pioneers Morbid Angel. He played in the band from 1984 to 1986 and made one official recording with them, '' Abominations of Desolation''; it was not released until 1991, years after Browning left the band. Browning had a very turbulent relationship with Morbid Angel guitarist Trey Azagthoth; Browning's exit from the band was apparently triggered by Azagthoth being involved in an affair with Browning's then-girlfriend, leading to an altercation between the two. Alexei Yurievich Borisov (russian: Алeксeй Юpьeвич Борисов) (born 7 December 1960) is a Russian musician, active in the Russian underground music scene since the beginning of the 1980s, and a member of Night Prospekt, F.R.U.I.T.S., Volga, ASTMA, Fake Cats Project and various other projects. Biography Born in Moscow in 1960, Borisov graduated from Moscow State University in History and Arts. His controversial performing career as a guitarist began in the new-wave group Center in 1980. The following year he formed the mod band Prospekt, remodelled in 1985 as the shifting Night Prospekt, with partner Ivan Sokolovsky. Psychedelic Desert is a noise ambient group from Osaka, Japan. Psychedelic Desert's music ranges from ambient drone soundscapes to layers of fluctuating sounds which stimulate the brainwaves of the listener. PureH
PureH is a Slovenian electronic music group formed in 1993, when their first tape ''Inertia'' appeared. Before that they were gathering experiences as musicians in several bands (Extreme Smoke, D.T.W., Patareni, etc.) The group initially consisted of a producer and video artist. After performing at the festival Break21, the group was joined by a drummer, guitarist and bass player. PureH have appeared on various compilation CDs, festivals, TV/radio commercials, World exhibition Expo 2000 and have received Bumerang 2000 alternative music award for experimental music.
