Nicolás Furtado (born 6 February 1988) is an Uruguayan actor. Life Furtado was born on 6 February 1988 La Teja, Montevideo. He took architecture courses before attending Ricardo Berio's Escuela del Actor from 2006 to 2008. Furtado started his acting career in Montevideo. Los exitosos Pells (Spanish for "The successful Pells") is a 2008-2009 Argentine telenovela, produced by Underground Producciones and Endemol, and aired by Telefe. It started being aired on November 5, 2008, replacing '' Vidas Robadas'' at 10:30PM. After a pair of schedule changes, it returned to 10:30PM until its end on July 15, 2009. Omar Ruben Rada Silva (born 16 July 1943) is a Uruguayan percussionist, composer, and singer. He is closely associated with candombe, a genre built around a chorus of ''tamboriles'', Uruguayan barrel drums. Rada has recorded more than thirty albums. A telenovela is a type of a television serial drama or soap opera produced primarily in Latin America. The word combines ''tele'' (for "television") and ''novela'' (meaning "novel"). Similar drama genres around the world include '' teleserye'' (Philippines), '' téléroman'' (Canada, specifically Quebec), and ''sinetron'' (Indonesia). Commonly described using the American colloquialism Spanish soap opera, many telenovelas share some stylistic and thematic similarities to the soap opera familiar to the English-speaking world.
