Pokémon Art Academy
is a 2014 educational drawing game developed by Headstrong Games and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo 3DS. It is a spin-off of the ''Art Academy'' series featuring characters from the '' Pokémon'' media franchise. The game was made available as both a retail and downloadable release from the Nintendo eShop, and is the first 3DS title with built-in Miiverse support for sharing artwork. Gameplay ''Pokémon Art Academy'' is an educational art game designed to teach players how to draw various Pokémon characters through 40 advancing lessons. Players progress through three skill levels – Novice, Apprentice, and Graduate – while learning new techniques and art concepts, with additional tools such as pastel and paintbrush being unlocked along the way. Headstrong Games was a subsidiary of Kuju Entertainment based in London that developed video games. History The studio was formed in 2000 as Kuju London. In 2008, it was rebranded as Headstrong Games. In 2013, Headstrong Games was included in the Develop 100 Studio Hot List. In 2017, Kuju Entertainment shifted focus to contract game development. Shading refers to the depiction of depth perception in 3D models (within the field of 3D computer graphics) or illustrations (in visual art) by varying the level of darkness. GameRankings was a video gaming review aggregator that was founded in 1999 and owned by CBS Interactive. It indexed over 315,000 articles relating to more than 14,500 video games.
