Periya Veetu Pannakkaran
''Periya Veetu Pannakkaran'' is a 1990 Indian Tamil-language film, directed by N. K. Viswanathan and produced by Kalyani Murugan. The film stars Karthik, Kanaka, M. N. Nambiar and S. S. Chandran. The film's score was composed by Ilaiyaraaja. Plot She is the daughter of a very rich big family . In the same village Karthik is the grandson of a very poor farmer there. He is a do gooder and is always rubbing the villains ( kanaka's cousins ) the wrong way. When they both decide to get married after a few teasings and duets, her family refuses and gets him beaten. Nambiar who resides in the next village adopts him . After hearing his story, he extends his proposal to Kanaka's family who still refuses despite Kartik now having millions in his name thanx to Nambiar. The village horse festival is announced. Sangili Murugan, is an Indian actor, screenwriter and producer. During the 1980s and 1990s, he was an actor doing negative and supporting roles in Tamil films. He has also worked as production controller in a number of films. Gangai Amaran is an Indian music composer, singer, lyricist, writer, film director and actor in Tamil films. Personal life Gangai Amaran was born in Pannaipuram in Theni district, Tamil Nadu in December 1947, as the youngest son of Daniel Ramaswamy and Chinnathayi. He is the younger brother of noted music director Ilaiyaraaja and father of director and actor Venkat Prabhu and actor, composer and singer Premji Amaren. He had two more elder brothers, R. D. Vasudevan (15 June 1944 – 20 February 2011), known as Malaysia Vasudevan, was a Malaysian-Indian playback singer and actor in Tamil cinema. Early life Malaysia Vasudevan's parents were from Palakkad. Chattu Nair of Ottappalam and Ammalu of Polpulli, along with their families migrated to British Malaya in search of a livelihood. After a few years, Chattu Nair married Ammalu in an arranged marriage. Vasudevan was born on 15 June 1944 as their eighth and youngest child. Even though he was a Malayali, as was the case with the majority of contemporary South Indian migrants to Malaya then, his surroundings in Malaysia was dominated by the Tamil language and culture. Piraisoodan (6 February 1956 – 8 October 2021) was a Tamil poet and lyricist. He won the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Lyricist for his songs in movies like ''Thayagam'', '' En Rasavin Manasile'' and ''Neeyum Naanum'' in 1996, 1991 and 2010 respectively.
