Piraisoodan
Piraisoodan (6 February 1956 – 8 October 2021) was a Tamil poet and lyricist. He won the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Lyricist for his songs in movies like ''Thayagam'', '' En Rasavin Manasile'' and ''Neeyum Naanum'' in 1996, 1991 and 2010 respectively. He wrote ‘Jagam Pughazum’, a Carnatic song that sums up the life of Thyagaraja. He was conferred the title "Kavi Nyaani" by the late music director M.S.Viswanathan. He is notable for his eloquent literary speeches and for his ability to complete a song in few minutes. In a television reality program called "Vanampadi" he explained the meaning and intricate nuances of various Tamil film songs that won him accolades and place him as the best analyser and critic for Tamil film songs. Kodaikanal (film)
''Kodaikanal'' is a 2008 Tamil language thriller film directed by T. K. Bose. The film stars newcomers Ashwanth Thilak, Poorna and Sekar, with Kandeepan, Vadivukkarasi, Senthil, Scissor Manohar, Alex, Bayilvan Ranganathan and Vijay Krishnaraj playing supporting roles. The film, produced by R. Swarnalakshmi, had musical score by Deva and was released on 14 November 2008. ''Thayagam'' () is a 1996 Indian Tamil language action film directed by A. R. Ramesh. The film stars Vijayakanth, Arun Pandian and Napoleon. The film had musical score by Deva and was released on 15 January 1996. Vijayakanth won Tamil Nadu State Film Award Special Prize for this film. ''En Rasavin Manasile'' () is a 1991 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film directed by Kasthuri Raja in his directorial debut. The film stars Rajkiran and Meena.
