Pascal Fabre
Pascal Fabre (born 9 January 1960) is a former racing driver from France. He participated in 14 Formula One Grands Prix with the uncompetitive AGS team, debuting on 12 April 1987. He scored no championship points and was replaced before the end of the season by Roberto Moreno. His best finish was ninth place in both the French and British Grands Prix. Michel Trollé (born 23 June 1959) is a French former racing driver from Lens, Pas-de-Calais. He began his career in Championnat de France Formule Renault Turbo in 1984, finishing second in the championship. In 1985 he moved to the French Formula Three Championship and finished third in points with two wins. In 1986 he participated in a handful of major Formula Three races including the Macau Grand Prix and participated in one World Sports-Prototype Championship race in a Porsche 962C for John Fitzpatrick Racing. In 1987 he made his International Formula 3000 debut and finished second in his first race and won the third race of the season at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps. The Sard MC8-R was a modified and lengthened version of the Toyota MR2 (SW20) built for GT racing by Toyota's SARD (Sigma Advanced Research Development) works team. SARD heavily modified the original MR2 frontal chassis deriving with custom rear chassis in order to fit a twin-turbo version of the 4.0-liter 1UZ-FE V8 producing . This is the first car which only using the frontal chassis of production car was effectively a purpose-built semi- sports-prototype that successfully got GT1 homologation. The 1996 24 Hours of Le Mans was the 64th Grand Prix of Endurance, and took place on 15 and 16 June 1996. It was won by a Tom Walkinshaw-Porsche prototype run by Joest Racing with drivers Davy Jones, Manuel Reuter and Le Mans rookie Alexander Wurz completing 354 laps. While not being the fastest car on track, it hit the front in the first hour and aside from several pit-stop overlaps, was never headed as other teams hit mechanical troubles during the race. The 1994 24 Hours of Le Mans was the 62nd Grand Prix of Endurance, and took place on 18 and 19 June 1994. The 1994 race was won by a car that had its roots in a 10-year-old design. Porsche exploited an unusual quirk in the GT regulations at the time, using German fashion magnate Jochen Dauer in a plan to have a street-legal version of the dated Porsche 962 built. The 1993 24 Hours of Le Mans was the 61st Grand Prix of Endurance, and took place on 19 and 20 June 1993.
