Onna Irukka Kathukanum
''Onna Irukka Kathukanum'' () is a 1992 Indian Tamil language comedy drama film directed by V. Sekhar. The film stars Sivakumar, while an ensemble supporting cast includes Manorama, Vinu Chakravarthy, Goundamani, Senthil, S. S. Chandran, Charle, Kovai Sarala, Supergood Kannan and Jeeva, amongst others. The film had musical score by Ilaiyaraaja and was released on 20 November 1992. Plot The story begins with a group of government officers coming to list the number of devastated houses. The officers promised them to give a big amount to build their house but in exchange for a little amount to register their name. So the illiterate villagers, who wants to make easy money, demolish their house. The officers turn out to be frauds. The village panchayat president knows that the villagers will not interfere in his decision until they are uneducated. Palaniswamy, better known by his stage name Sivakumar (born 27 October 1941), is an Indian visual artist and former actor who has portrayed a wide range of leading and supporting roles onscreen in Tamil cinema and television. He made his acting debut in A. C. Trilogchander's '' Kakkum Karangal'' (1965). He has acted in over 190 movies in Tamil. He is the father of actors Suriya and Karthi. He is also ambidextrous. Pulavar Pulamaipithan (6 October 1935 – 8 September 2021) was an Indian scholar, poet and lyricist who got recognition through the song "Naan yaar nee yaar" which was featured in the Tamil film ''Kudiyirundha Koyil'' in 1968. He briefly served as the presidium chairman of AIADMK from 2002 to 2003, when he resigned citing ill-health. Biography Pulamaipithan was born in Irugur, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu on 6 October 1935. At the early age Pulavar used to work in textile mill known as Combodia mills in Coimbatore and also studied his Tamil literature in Tava Tiru Shanthalinga Adigalar Perur Tamil Kaluri Coimbatore. Nagoor Babu, known by his stage name Mano, is an Indian playback singer, voice-over artist, actor, producer, television anchor and composer.
