Oksana Okunyeva
Oksana Okunyeva ( uk, Оксана Григорівна Окунєва; also transliterated Okuneva or Okunieva, born 14 March 1990 in Mykolaiv) is a Ukraine, Ukrainian high jumper. She won the silver medal at the 2011 European Athletics U23 Championships, European U23 Championships in Ostrava, Czech Republic, and finished first at the World Challenge Hengelo in the Netherlands. Her personal best jump is 1.98 metres, achieved in Berdychiv on 28 June 2014 at the Memorial of Vitaliy Lonsky. The 2011 European Athletics Indoor Championships were held at the Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy in Paris, France, from 4 to 6 March 2011. 577 athletes representing 46 countries competed at the championships. Twenty-six track and field events were contested, with the events programme divided equally between the genders. Russia topped the medal table, having won the most gold medals (six), as well as having gained the greatest total with fifteen. The 14th IAAF World Championships in Athletics (Moscow 2013) () was an international athletics competition held in Moscow, Russia, from 10–18 August 2013. Initially, Russia won the most gold medals to top the table for the first time since 2001. It was also the first time ever the host nation took the top of the medal table. The 2012 IAAF World Indoor Championships in Athletics was the 14th edition of the global-level indoor track and field competition and was held between March 9–11, 2012 at the Ataköy Athletics Arena in Istanbul, Turkey. It was the first of four IAAF World Athletics Series events in 2012, which includes the World Race Walking Cup, the World Junior Championships and the World Half Marathon Championships. Preparation The IAAF announced on March 25, 2007, at an IAAF Council meeting in Mombasa, Kenya that it had received bids from Turkey and Qatar to host the 2010 IAAF World Indoor Championships.
