Rear Admiral Odd Stan-Eric Werin (born 12 January 1958) is a retired Swedish Navy officer. Career Odd Werin was born on 12 January 1958 in Stockholm, Sweden. He completed training as a naval officer, which he completed in 1981. He was in command of and . Werin was commander of the 33rd Coastal Corvette Division (''33. kustkorvettdivisionen'') in Karlskrona before starting a new job on 2 February 1998 as a staff officer in the Partnership Coordination Cell with the Partnership for Peace program at the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe in Mons, Belgium. From 2000 to 2003, Werin was commander of the 2nd Surface Combat Flotilla (''Andra ytstridsflottiljen''). Since 1 September 2013, Werin has been Sweden’s military representative to the EU and NATO. Maritime Component Command
Maritime Component Command ( sv, Marinens taktiska stab, MTS) was a part of the Joint Forces Command of the Swedish Armed Forces. The staff was located at the Swedish Armed Forces Headquarters in Stockholm and is headed by the Chief of Navy. The Maritime Component Command commanded the operations of the Swedish Navy forces. Karlskrona (, , ) is a locality and the seat of Karlskrona Municipality, Blekinge County, Sweden with a population of 66,675 in 2018. It is also the capital of Blekinge County. Mons (; German and nl, Bergen, ; Walloon and pcd, Mont) is a city and municipality of Wallonia, and the capital of the province of Hainaut, Belgium. Mons was made into a fortified city by Count Baldwin IV of Hainaut in the 12th century.
