Oberliga Nordrhein-Westfalen
The Nordrhein-Westfalen-Liga (''North Rhine-Westphalia League''; NRW-Liga) was the highest football league in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) from 2008 to 2012. It was one of the eleven Oberliga groups in German football, the fifth tier of the German football league system. With the reorganisation of the German league system in 2012, the NRW-Liga was disbanded once more as the Regionalliga West above it would then only contain clubs from North Rhine-Westphalia. Schwarz-Weiß Essen is a German association football club based in Essen, North Rhine-Westphalia. The side has its origins in the gymnastics club ''Essener Turnerbund'' founded in 1881. TuS Erndtebrück is a Football in Germany, German association football club from the town of Erndtebrück, Siegen-Wittgenstein. The club was established in 1895 as the gymnastics club ''Turnverein Erndtebrück''. Today, ''TuS'' has a dozen other sports departments in addition to its football side. History ''TuS'' was originally established with departments for gymnastics and athletics and grew in 1897 to include a newly formed marching band. TuS Dornberg is a German association football club from the town of Bielefeld, North Rhine-Westphalia. Founded in 1902, the team currently plays in the Westfalenliga (VI). KFC Uerdingen 05 is a German football club in the Uerdingen district of the city of Krefeld, North Rhine-Westphalia. Sportfreunde Siegen is a German association football club based in Siegen, North Rhine-Westphalia. After going through insolvency in 2008, the first team was forcibly relegated to the fifth-tier NRW-Liga.
