Numbers Radio
Numbers Radio are an Australian hard rock band formed in Brisbane, Queensland in 2008. The band is made up of Dave Orr (guitars-vocals) Robbie Carlyon (bass-vocals) and Mark Henman (drums). Numbers Radio first came to attention when they won a national youth radio competition, Triple J Unearthed, securing them a spot at Homebake and they received national airplay on Triple J. The band is well known for being extremely proficient musicians across a variety of genres including Blues, Funk, Jazz, and Ska Punk. Origins Orr and Carlyon have been lifelong friends who met in grade 3 and have shared in a variety of music projects. They formed Numbers Radio out of a love for mid 1990s punk rock and skateboarding. Drummer Mark Henmanm, previously best known for playing in hip hop and funk acts such as Resin Dogs and Afro Dizzi Act also shared a passion for heavy guitar based punk rock. Eskimo Joe are an Australian alternative rock band that was formed in 1997 by Stuart MacLeod, on lead guitar, Joel Quartermain, on drums and guitar, and Kavyen Temperley, on bass guitar and vocals, in East Fremantle, Western Australia, Australia. The Butterfly Effect (band)
The Butterfly Effect are an Australian rock band from Brisbane formed in 1999. The band released a self-titled debut EP in 2001, and then three full-length albums afterwards; '' Begins Here'' in 2003, ''Imago'' in 2006, and '' Final Conversation of Kings'' in 2008. During this time, the band consisted of Clint Boge on lead vocals, Kurt Goedhart on guitar, Glenn Esmond on bass, and Ben Hall on drums. After struggling for years to work on a fourth studio album, Boge left the band in 2012 due to personal and creative differences. The remaining members recruited Brisbane-based singer Paul Galagher for a final single and tour before announcing their breakup in 2016. Wolfmother
Wolfmother is an Australian hard rock band from Sydney. Formed in 2004, the group is centred around vocalist and guitarist Andrew Stockdale, who is the only constant member of the line-up. The band has been through many personnel changes since their formation, with the current incarnation including drummer Hamish Rosser and bassist Brad Heald, both of whom are former members of The Vines. The original – and most commercially successful – line-up included bassist and keyboardist Chris Ross and drummer Myles Heskett. Ross and Heskett left Wolfmother after four years in 2008. Airbourne are an Australian hard rock band formed in Warrnambool, Victoria in late 2003. Founding members are Joel O'Keeffe on lead vocals and lead guitar, his younger brother Ryan O'Keeffe on drums and David Roads on rhythm guitar and backing vocals. They were joined by Justin Street on bass guitar and backing vocals in mid-2004. Roads amicably left in 2017, Mathew Harrison joined in 2018 and after a short tenure was replaced by Jarrad Morrice on rhythm guitar and backing vocals in 2022.
