Noelia Fernández (gymnast)
Noelia Fernández Navarro (born 21 September 1976) is a former Spanish rhythmic gymnast. She's a multiple medalist at the European Championships. From 2004 to 2012 she coached the Spanish senior group in various stages. Career At the age of 6 she started practicing rhythmic gymnastics at the Montemar Athletic Club. In 1989 she was selected by Emilia Boneva to be part of the national junior group, coached by Rosa Menor, Paqui Maneus, Cathy Xaudaró and Berta Veiga, and she participated in the European Junior Championship in Tenerife obtaining a bronze medal along Carmen Acedo, Ruth Goñi, Montse Martín, Eider Mendizábal and Gemma Royo as well as Cristina Chapuli and Diana Martín as substitutes. In 1990 she was the silver medalist at the Spanish national championships, between Ada Liberio and Mónica Ferrández. Carolina Pascual
Carolina Pascual Gracia (born 17 June 1976 in Orihuela, Alicante) is a former Spanish Individual Rhythmic Gymnast. She is the 1992 Olympics silver medalist and the 1993 European all-around bronze medalist. Career Pascual was doing ballet when at age seven her ballet teacher told her mother that her daughter had excellent qualities for Rhythmic Gymnastics. There was not a club in her town so, her mother drove for around an hour to get Pascual to and from training sessions at the Escuela de Competición in Murcia. Pascual later went to the Atlético Montemar in Alicante. Pascual got her breakthrough in 1990 when Spain's head coach, Emilia Boneva, selected Pascual for the National Team. Mónica Ferrández Arenas (born 25 October 1974) is a Spanish rhythmic gymnast and trainer. She's a European and World medalist. Career Mónica took up the port at age 6 as an extracurricular activity, after a few months she started training at the Club Atlético Montemar until she was incorporated into the national team in 1988. In 1990 she won bronze at the Spanish national championships, behind Ada Liberio and Noelia Fernández. In November she was selected for the European Championships in Gothenburg where she won team bronze along with Carolina Pascual and Noelia Fernández, she was as well 7th in the All-Around. Ada Liberio
Ada Liberio Romo (born 10 August 1974) is a retired Spanish Rhythmic gymnastics, rhythmic gymnast. She is a European and world medalist. Biography She trained at the Zaragozano Gimnasia Sports Club, being trained by Cathy Xaudaró. Along with other gymnasts such as Ana Bolea or the sisters Elmira Dassaeva, Elmira and Cristina Dassaeva, she made the club become one of the leading teams in rhythmic gymnastics at the regional level for several decades. The Spanish Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship is the most important national rhythmic gymnastics competition in Spain. It is organized annually since 1975 by the Royal Spanish Federation of Gymnastics and today, since 2010, it is called the Spanish Championship of Individuals, Clubs and Autonomies.
