''No Stranger Than Love'' is a 2015 Canadian romantic comedy film directed by Nick Wernham and written by Steve Adams. The film stars Alison Brie, Justin Chatwin and Colin Hanks. Plot summary Lucy Sherrington (Alison Brie), a high school art teacher living in a small town, is romantically pursued by every male she knows including students and the high school principal. Lucy turns them down because she is contemplating having an affair with the married high school football coach, Clint Coburn (Colin Hanks). In order to reassure Lucy, who is having doubts about their relationship, Clint vows not to have sex with her until she tells him she loves him. Steve Adams (writer)
Steve Adams (born Steven Saint Lawrence Adams, February 8, 1947) is an American author and screenwriter who uses the penname Waldo Mellon. He wrote ''Envy (2004)'', starring Ben Stiller and Jack Black. Adams conceived the idea with long-time friend Larry David. They met while both were comedy writers for Fridays, a Saturday Night Live inspired show in the early 1980s. Adams also wrote ''Waiting for Forever'' (2010) starring Tom Sturridge, Rachel Bilson, and Blythe Danner as well as ''No Stranger Than Love'' (2015) starring Alison Brie and Colin Hanks.
