Niklas Lemke
Karl Niklas Lemke (born 23 April 1984) is a Swedish professional golfer, who plays on the European Tour. He has formerly played on the Challenge Tour and the Web.com Tour in the United States. Early life Lemke was born in Linköping, Sweden, son of golf professional Bertil Lemke, who himself competeted in seven European Tour tournaments on home soil, the 1976−1982 Scandinavian Enterprise Open, as well as met Seve Ballesteros and Jim Dent in a driving competition on Saturday evening of the tournament week at the 1977 event in Stockholm, Sweden. Amateur career In 2002, Niklas Lemke won the Swedish Junior Match-play Championship at Hooks Golf Club, at the time representing Linköping Golf Club. He later came to represent Öijared Golf Club, situated east of Gothenburg, Sweden. He represented Sweden at European Amateur championships in all age levels. Nordea Masters
The Scandinavian Masters is an annual golf tournament on the European Tour played in Sweden. In 2020 the tournament became co-sanctioned with the Ladies European Tour and rebranded as the Scandinavian Mixed, in which both male and female golfers compete. History The tournament had its origins in the Volvo Open and the Scandinavian Enterprise Open, which, in 1973, became the first Swedish stop on the European Tour schedule. In 1991, the SEO merged with the PLM Open, with the resultant tournament being called the Scandinavian Masters. The Swedish PGA Championship for men is a golf tournament played annually in Sweden since 1970. It has been an event on the Swedish Golf Tour schedule since 1984 and the Nordic Golf League since 1999. History From its beginning in 1970, it was a championship for members of the PGA of Sweden. Since 1986, the tournament has been open to foreign players. The tournament was part of the Challenge Tour from 1990 to 1996 and from 2001 to 2005.
