Niki Volos Football Club () is a Greek professional Association football, football club based in the city of Volos, in the region of Magnesia Prefecture, Magnesia, Greece. The club currently competes in the Super League Greece 2, Super League 2, the second tier of Greek football. History Niki Volos was founded on 19 August 1924 as Gymnastic Club of Volos' Refugees or Refugee Gymnastic Association, by Greek refugees who came from Asia Minor. Niki participated for the first time in the championship of the first category before the establishment of the First National, as in 1953–54 she was the winner of the Northern Group and this gave her the ticket for the final phase of the National Division Championship 1953–54, Six teams (Athens (2) – Piraeus – Thessaloniki – North – South) took the 5th place with 16 points, ahead of Panahaiki, who finished the championship with 13. The Super League Greece 2 () is the second division of professional Association football, football in Greece, serving as a feeder league to the top level Super League Greece, Super League 1. Made up of 20 teams in two groups, it is usually played from September to May. The FCA Winners' Championship () is a Greek football league competition contested annually by the most recent winners of all local Football Clubs' Associations championships in Greece. It is not considered part of the Greek football league system, due to a lack of formal structure, requiring all local FCA championships to have been completed prior to its start. The FCA Winners' Championship was founded in 1968, and held annually during 1968−1977 going by the name "Amateur Championship" as a means of achieving promotion to the formally-structured ''Beta Ethniki'' (the official 2nd tier of the Greek football league system, renamed in 2010 to ''Football League''). 2018–19 Gamma Ethniki
The 2018–19 Gamma Ethniki is the 36th season since the official establishment of the third tier of Greek football in 1983. It start on 30 September 2018. This year 12 teams will be promoted. The 2017–18 Gamma Ethniki was the 35th season since the official establishment of the third tier of Greek football in 1983. It started on 1 October 2017. After matches were completed in the eight groups, the top team in each group qualified for a playoff round of two groups, to determine which four teams would be promoted to the Football League. 97 teams were divided into eight groups according to geographical criteria. The 1987–88 Gamma Ethniki was the fifth season since the official establishment of the third tier of Greek football in 1983. Atromitos and Makedonikos were crowned champions in ''Southern'' and ''Northern'' Group respectively, thus winning promotion to Beta Ethniki.
