Nicole Collins
Nicole Collins is a contemporary Canadian artist whose work, which takes the form of painting, performance, video, and sound, explores the effect of time, accumulation, force and heat on visceral materials. She currently teaches at OCAD University. Education She received her Master of Visual Studies from University of Toronto in 2009 and her Bachelor of Arts, Fine Arts Major, with Honours, from University of Guelph in 1988. Artistic career Nicole Collins has shown her interdisciplinary work internationally, in galleries in Canada, America, Tokyo, Switzerland, and England, since the beginning of her artistic career in the early 1990s. She is currently represented by General Hardware Contemporary in Toronto, Ontario. Ontario College of Art & Design University, commonly known as OCAD University or OCAD, is a public art university located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Milly Ristvedt (born 1942 in Kimberley, B.C.), also known as Milly Ristvedt-Handerek, is a Canadian abstract painter. Ristvedt lives and paints in Ontario, where she is represented by the Oeno Gallery. A monograph covering a ten-year retrospective of her work, ''Milly Ristvedt-Handerek: Paintings of a Decade'', was published by the Agnes Etherington Art Centre in 1979. In 2017, a second monograph was published by Oeno Gallery which included a survey of paintings from 1964 through to 2016, ''Milly Ristvedt, Colour and Meaning : an incomplete palette''.
