Neela Satyanarayanan
Neela Satyanarayanan (née Mandake) (pronounced ; 5 February 1948 – 16 July 2020) was an Indian author and civil servant. She was the first female State Election Commissioner in Maharashtra. Biography Satyanarayanan was born on 5 February 1948 in Mumbai to Sushila and Vasudev Mandake. Her father was a police officer. She studied in Mumbai, Pune and Nashik, graduating from the Delhi School Board with a focus on Sanskrit. She entered the Indian Administrative Service after completing undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. Satyanarayanan was diagnosed with COVID-19 during the COVID-19 pandemic in India in July 2020, and died at the age of 72, following complications in Mumbai, on 16 July 2020. Satyanarayanan has two children, one of whom was diagnosed with Down Syndrome, and has written about her experience of motherhood in a memoir titled, ''One Full, One Half.'' Vishwanath Patekar (born 1 January 1951), better known as Nana Patekar, is an Indian actor, screenwriter, film maker, and a former Indian Territorial Army officer, mainly working in Hindi and Marathi cinema. Manohar Joshi
Manohar Gaju Joshi (born 2 December 1937) is a prominent politician from the state of Maharashtra. He was the Chief Minister of Maharashtra from 1995 to 1999 and Speaker of the Lok Sabha from 2002 to 2004. He is one of the prominent leaders of the Shiv Sena.
