Nasira Zuberi
Nasira Zuberi is a Pakistani poet and a journalist. Early life and career Nasira Zuberi comes from a literary family background, she got her early education from her home town, Lahore and received a master's degree in Economics from the University of Punjab. She started her career in 1988 as a reporter for Business Recorder, Pakistan's first business daily newspaper. She was later promoted to the position of senior reporter where she served until the late nineties. She covered news about the Pakistani parliament's upper and lower houses besides covering economic affairs. She published her first volume of poetry, ''Shagoon'' in the 1990s. Nasira Zuberi shifted gears and went into electronic media in 1999. In the beginning, she produced and directed Business Review for Ptv World. Then in 2002, Jang Group of Publications started Geo TV. Mass is an intrinsic property of a body. It was traditionally believed to be related to the quantity of matter in a physical body, until the discovery of the atom and particle physics. Muhammad Ali Siddiqui
Muhammad Ali Siddiqui (7 March 1938 – 9 Jan 2013) was a noted scholar of Urdu literature, educationist, literary critic and a newspaper columnist from Pakistan. He was also widely known by his pen name Ariel in Pakistan. Early life and career He was born on 7 March 1938 in Amroha, India, and was brought up in Karachi, Pakistan. He died on 9 January 2013 at Karachi, Pakistan. His family had migrated to Pakistan in 1948. He received his early education at Christian Mission School in Karachi. Then he went on to receive his master's degree in English literature from the University of Karachi in 1962. He was able to use English, French, Hindko, Hindi Persian, Punjabi, Sindhi, Seraiki and Urdu languages. Ahmed Faraz
Syed Ahmad Shah (), better known by his pen name Ahmed Faraz, ( 12 January 1931 – 25 August 2008) was a Pakistani Urdu poet, scriptwriter and became the founding Director General (later Chairman) of Pakistan Academy of Letters. He wrote his poetry under the pseudonym ''Faraz''. He criticised military rule and coup d'état in the country and was displaced by the military dictators. Awards and recognition Ahmad Faraz was first awarded the Sitara-i-Imtiaz by the Government of Pakistan and then the Hilal-e-Imtiaz in 2004 by the then President of Pakistan Pervez Musharraf. He returned this award two years later in 2006 "as a means of protest against the actions of the Musharraf regime". Ahmad Nadeem Qasmi ( ur, ) born Ahmad Shah Awan ( ur, ) (20 November 1916 - 10 July 2006) was an Urdu language Pakistani poet, journalist, literary critic, dramatist and short story author. He wrote 50 books on topics such as poetry, fiction, criticism, journalism and art, and was a major figure in contemporary Urdu literature. His poetry was distinguished by its humanism, and his Urdu ''afsana'' (short story) work is considered by some second only to Munshi Prem Chand in its depiction of rural culture. He was also editor and publisher of the literary magazine ''Funoon'' for almost half a century. He received awards such as the Pride of Performance in 1968 and Sitara-e-Imtiaz in 1980 for his literary work. Pirzada Qasim Raza Siddiqui ( ur, پیرزادہ قاسم رضا صدیقی) (born 8 February 1943) is a Pakistani scholar, poet, scientist and educationist. He is serving as vice chancellor of Ziauddin University. Early life and career Pirzada was born on 8 February 1943 to an Urdu-speaking family in Delhi, India.
