''News One'' is a Pakistani Urdu-language TV channel, based in Karachi. It launched on 27 November 2007 and is owned by Air Waves Media (Pvt) Ltd, a subsidiary of the Interflow Group which also owns TV One, Waseb TV, Sonic TV and FM91. The channel is broadcast from the Paksat 1R satellite. 576i is a standard-definition television, standard-definition digital video mode, originally used for digitizing analog television in most countries of the world where the utility frequency for electric power distribution is 50 Hz. Because of its close association with the legacy color encoding systems, it is often referred to as PAL, PAL/SECAM or SECAM when compared to its 60 Hz (typically, see PAL-M) NTSC-colour-encoded counterpart, 480i. Mohammad Umer (19 April 1960 – 2 October 2021), known professionally as Umer Shareef, was a Pakistani actor, comedian, director, producer, and television personality. Early life Mohammad Umer was born on 19 April 1960, into an Urdu speaking family in Liaquatabad, Karachi.
