Narita Station
is a passenger railway station in the city of Narita, Chiba, operated by the East Japan Railway Company (JR East). Lines Narita Station is served by the Narita Line, and is located 13.1 kilometers from the terminus of line at Sakura Station and 68.5 kilometers from Tokyo Station. Station layout Narita Station has a single side platform and two island platforms, connected to the station building though footbridges to a common concourse. Track 4 is not served by a platform, and is used by non-stop ''Narita Express'' and '' Ayame'' limited express services. The station has a ''Midori no Madoguchi'' staffed ticket office. The Sōbu Line (Rapid) ( ja, 総武快速線, ) is a railway service on the Sōbu Main Line in Tokyo and Chiba Prefecture, Japan, operated by East Japan Railway Company (JR East). It connects Tokyo Station in Chūō, Tokyo with Chiba Station in Chūō-ku, Chiba via the cities of Ichikawa, Funabashi, and Narashino. Services Rapid services on the Sōbu Line are primarily operated between Tokyo and Chiba, although there are many through services onto the Yokosuka Line as well as some through services operated from the Yokosuka Line via Tokyo terminating at . is a passenger railway station located in the city of Narita, Chiba Prefecture Japan, operated by the private railway company, Keisei Electric Railway. It is within walking distance of the JR East Narita Station. Lines Keisei Narita Station is served by the Keisei Main Line and Keisei Higashi-Narita Line. Narita International Airport ( ja, 成田国際空港, Narita Kokusai Kūkō) , also known as Tokyo-Narita, formerly and originally known as , is one of two international airports serving the Greater Tokyo Area, the other one being Haneda Airport (HND). It is about east of central Tokyo in Narita, Chiba. The conceptualization of Narita was highly controversial and remains so to the present-day, especially among local residents in the area. This has led to the Sanrizuka Struggle, stemming from the government's decision to construct the airport without consulting most residents in the area, as well as expropriating their lands in the process. Even after the airport was eventually completed, air traffic movements have been controlled under various noise related operating restrictions due to its direct proximity with residential neighborhoods, including a house with a farm that is located right in between the runways.
