Munster Technological University
Munster Technological University (MTU; ga, Ollscoil Teicneolaíochta na Mumhan) is a public technological university consisting of six campuses located in Cork and Kerry. The university was established in January 2021, the result of a merger between two institutes of technology, Cork Institute of Technology and the Institute of Technology, Tralee. Its creation was announced in May 2020. It accommodates more than 18,000 students and over 2,000 members of staff. It is Ireland's second technological university, after Technological University Dublin. Maggie Cusack
Maggie Cusack is a Scottish academic and administrator who has been the inaugural president of Munster Technological University since 1 January 2021. She was previously Professor of Biomineralisation at the School of Geographical and Earth Sciences at the University of Glasgow. Her central research focuses on biominerals (shells, corals and bones.) On Thursday 10 December 2020, it was announced by Ireland's Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science Simon Harris that Maggie was to become the inaugural president of Munster Technological University once it is founded on 1 January 2021. Menstruation (also known as a period, among other colloquial terms) is the regular discharge of blood and mucosal tissue from the inner lining of the uterus through the vagina. The Taoiseach is the head of government, or prime minister, of Republic of Ireland, Ireland.
