Miss Alaska Teen USA
Miss Alaska Teen USA is the pageant that selects the representative for the state of Alaska in the Miss Teen USA pageant and the name of the title held by that winner. The pageant is part of the Miss Universe Organization which also holds the Miss USA and Miss Universe pageants. The Miss Alaska Teen USA pageant is generally held in the late fall or early winter in Anchorage, Alaska together with the Miss Alaska USA. The current directors are former titleholders and sisters Rachel Saldana (2002) and Sonja Garness (2005). There are three categories of competition which include Personality Interview, Swimsuit, and Evening gown. The fourth judging category is the on-stage impromptu question that is completed by the top five finalists. Alaska has never won Miss Teen USA title, with only three teens making the semi-finals or better. However, Marla Johnson placed 1st runner-up to Bridgette Wilson of Oregon at Miss Teen USA 1990. A beauty pageant is a competition that has traditionally focused on judging and ranking the physical attributes of the contestants. Miss Teen USA 2019
Miss Teen USA 2019 was the 37th Miss Teen USA pageant. It was held at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada on April 28, 2019, and was hosted by Miss USA 2014 Nia Sanchez and Tim Tialdo. The 2019 competition served as the second consecutive time that the pageant has been held concurrently with the Miss USA competition. Miss Alaska's Outstanding Teen
The Miss Alaska's Teen competition is the pageant that selects the representative for Alaska in the Miss America's Teen pageant. Lynciemae Adams of Anchorage was crowned Miss Alaska's Outstanding Teen on June 8, 2023 at the UAA Wendy Williamson Performing Arts Center in Anchorage, Alaska. She will compete in the Miss America's Teen 2024 pageant. In January of 2023, the official name of the pageant was changed from Miss Alaska’s Outstanding Teen, to Miss Alaska’s Teen, in accordance with the national pageant. Miss Teen USA 2012
Miss Teen USA 2012 was the 30th Miss Teen USA pageant. The pageant was held on July 28, 2012 at the Grand Ballroom of the Atlantis Paradise Island in Nassau, The Bahamas. Danielle Doty of Texas crowned Logan West from Connecticut as the new Miss Teen USA 2012 at the end of the event. The 50 states and the District of Columbia competed for the prestigious title and the pageant was streamed globally on the official Miss Teen USA website over its Ustream channel and was also streamed for the first time to Xbox 360 consoles over Xbox Live in North America and in select regions in Europe, Oceania and Latin America. Renee Bull
Renee Charmaine Bull (born February 24, 1993, in Dover) is an American beauty pageant titleholder. She was first Runner-Up at Miss Delaware 2012 and a Top 11 Finalist at Miss Delaware 2013. She was crowned Miss Delaware USA 2015 and represented her state at Miss USA 2015 where she became the first delegate from her state to place in the semifinals, finishing in the Top 11. Pageantry Miss Delaware 2012 In June 2012, Bull entered the Miss America system's Miss Delaware pageant as Miss Blue Gold. Miss Delaware USA is the pageant that selects the representative for the state of Delaware in the Miss USA pageant, and the name of the title held by its winner. The pageant is directed by V&M Productions. Delaware had not placed in Miss USA until 2015, where Renee Bull placed in the Top 10. This is additionally Delaware's first, most recent, and only placement. The current Miss Delaware USA is Grace Lange of Newark and was crowned on April 3, 2022 at Laird Performing Arts Center of The Tatnall School in Wilmington. Miss USA 2015 was the 64th Miss USA pageant, held at the Raising Cane's River Center Arena in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on July 12, 2015. All fifty states and the District of Columbia competed. Nia Sanchez of Nevada crowned her successor Olivia Jordan of Oklahoma at the end of the event. This was Oklahoma's first Miss USA title in the pageant's history. Miss Teen USA 2016 was the 34th Miss Teen USA pageant, was held at The Venetian Theatre in Las Vegas, Nevada on July 30, 2016. Katherine Haik of Louisiana crowned her successor Karlie Hay of Texas, at the end of the event. The pageant was webcast on the Miss Universe website, Facebook page, and mobile app as well as on Xbox 360 and Xbox One consoles via Xbox Live. Miss Teen USA 2017 was the 35th Miss Teen USA pageant held at the Phoenix Symphony Hall in Phoenix, Arizona on July 29, 2017. Karlie Hay of Texas crowned her successor, Sophia Dominguez-Heithoff of Missouri at the end of the event. The pageant was hosted by celebrity personal trainer and author Heidi Powell and E! correspondent Erin Lim, while Mexican singer Jorge Blanco performed. It was the first time the pageant was held in Arizona and the first to broadcast in high dynamic range (HDR) color, virtual reality and on PlayStation consoles. This was the final year that Miss USA and Miss Teen USA pageants have held separately, due to scheduling changes of the succeeding year's pageant that Dominguez-Heithoff would be the shortest reigning titleholders in the pageant, which held for nine months and 19 days.
