Miss Teen USA 2019
Miss Teen USA 2019 was the 37th Miss Teen USA pageant. It was held at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada on April 28, 2019, and was hosted by Miss USA 2014 Nia Sanchez and Tim Tialdo. The 2019 competition served as the second consecutive time that the pageant has been held concurrently with the Miss USA competition. For the first time, both the preliminary and final competitions were held on the same day. Grand Sierra Resort
Grand Sierra Resort (formerly MGM Grand Reno, Bally's Reno and Reno Hilton) is a hotel and casino located approximately three miles east of Downtown Reno, Nevada. Miss Mississippi Teen USA
The Miss Mississippi Teen USA competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the state of Mississippi in the Miss Teen USA pageant. The pageant was directed by Premier Pageants from 2001 to 2010, before becoming part of Greenwood Productions in 2010 under the ownership of Miss Tennessee USA 1989 Kim Greenwood. Mississippi has had two Miss Teen USA placements as of 2010. They have had one Miss USA and a Miss Teen USA in 1987 becoming the 5th state that won the Miss Teen USA title for the first time, and in 2014, Vaeda Mann was 1st runner-up. Miss Teen USA 2015 was the 33rd Miss Teen USA pageant. It was held at the Atlantis Paradise Island in Nassau, The Bahamas on August 22, 2015 and was hosted by Miss USA 2013 Erin Brady and television writer Nick Teplitz. All fifty states and District of Columbia competed. K. Lee Graham of South Carolina crowned her successor Katherine Haik of Louisiana at the end of the event. Miss Massachusetts Teen USA
Massachusetts has had a number of semi-finalist placings but is not one of the most successful states at Miss Teen USA. Their best placement was in 2001, when Marianna Zaslavsky placed 2nd runner-up to Marissa Whitley. The most notable Miss Massachusetts Teen USA is Susie Castillo, who went on to win the Miss Massachusetts USA and Miss USA crowns. She is one of three Massachusetts teens to win the respective Miss title. One other Teen also competed at Miss America. Yanelyn Quintana of Haverhill was crowned Miss Massachusetts Teen USA 2023 on January 29, 2023. She will represent Massachusetts for the title of Miss Teen USA 2023. Miss Arkansas Teen USA
The Miss Arkansas Teen USA competition is the beauty pageant, pageant that selects the representative for the state of Arkansas in the Miss Teen USA pageant. The state pageant was directed by Premier Pageants from 2002 to 2007 before becoming part of the Vanbros organization, headquartered in Lenexa, Kansas. In 2007, Vanbros group took over the management of the pageant with the Miss Kansas Teen USA, Kansas, Miss Nebraska Teen USA, Nebraska, Miss Missouri Teen USA, Missouri and Miss Oklahoma Teen USA, Oklahoma pageants. Miss Wyoming Teen USA
The Miss Wyoming Teen USA competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the state of Wyoming in the Miss Teen USA pageant. Wyoming's highest placement was at Miss Teen USA 1985 when Emily Ernst placed first runner-up to Kelly Hu of Hawaii. Five Miss Wyoming Teen USA winners have gone on to win the Miss Wyoming USA title and compete at Miss USA. Nora Steinke of Laramie was crowned Miss Wyoming Teen USA 2022 on June 18, 2022, at John F. Miss Oklahoma Teen USA
The Miss Oklahoma Teen USA competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the state of Oklahoma in the Miss Teen USA pageant. This pageant is directed by Vanbros and Associates, headquartered in Lenexa, Kansas. In 1997, Oklahoma joined the Vanbros group of state pageants for the Miss USA and Teen USA system. Oklahoma is in the top 5 most successful states at Miss Teen USA in terms of number and value of placements. Oklahoma's best performance came in the 1980s through the early 1990s. After Oklahoma was taken over by Vanbros there was a six-year lapse, before Nikki Carver brought the state back into the semi-finals in 2003. The Miss South Carolina Teen USA pageant is the competition that selects the representatives for the state of South Carolina in the Miss Teen USA pageant. Miss Maryland Teen USA
The Miss Maryland Teen USA competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the state of Maryland in the Miss Teen USA pageant. Maryland did not place at Miss Teen USA until 1992, but since then this state has been quite successful, including earning four runner-up placements, and a winner in 2010. Miss Kansas Teen USA
The Miss Kansas Teen USA competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the state of Kansas in the Miss Teen USA pageant. This pageant has been part of the Vanbros organisation since 1992, and in 2006, they celebrated their fifteen-year anniversary with a reunion of former titleholders at the 2007 pageant. For the first time, all the judges for both the Miss Kansas USA and Miss Kansas Teen USA pageants were former titleholders from the Vanbros states: Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma and Nebraska. The Miss Illinois Teen USA competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the state of Illinois in the Miss Teen USA pageant. It is directed by Vanbros and Associates and is previously directed by D&D Productions from 2001 to 2014 before becoming part of Vanbros organization in 2014, headquartered in Lenexa, Kansas. Illinois is in the top fifteen states in terms of number and value of placements over the twenty-three years of the Miss Teen USA competition.
