Aslak Sira Myhre
Aslak Sira Myhre (born 28 May 1973 in Stavanger) is a Norwegian culture administrator. Since 2014 he is director of the National Library of Norway. Myhre has been a leftwing politician, and was for a period leader of the former party Red Electoral Alliance (RV). In the local election in Oslo in 2015 he was listed for Red (Norway), Red, the party succeeding Red Electoral Alliance since 2007, however not on top, and he did not get a seat. Myhre's parents were both active on the political left and his father Eldar Myhre is a known trade union chairman at Aker Kværner. Aslak was very active in student demonstrations at the University of Bergen during the 1990s and sat on the university board in 1996. He was the party leader of Red Electoral Alliance between 1997 and 2003, and sat in the municipal council (Norway), city council in his home city Stavanger between 1999 and 2003. Marius Myhre
Marius Myhre Fartum (born 21 November 1991) is a Norwegian badminton player. He is affiliated with Haugerud IF and has won nine Norwegian National Championships title, seven consecutive men's singles title from 2013–2019, 1 in the mixed and men's doubles respectively. Myhre won his first senior international title at the 2015 Norwegian International. Career Myhre started practicing badminton at the age of ten, introduced and trained by his father, Rune Fartum, who also played badminton. He plays in the men's singles. He participated in the 2013, 2015 and 2017 BWF World Championships. He won his first international title at the home soil 2015 Norwegian International tournament, a feat no home player has achieved since Jim Ronny Andersen in 2000. Myhre Syndrome
Myhre syndrome is a rare genetic disorder inherited in an autosomal dominant fashion. It is caused by mutation in SMAD4 gene. Signs and symptoms The clinical presentation is variable but includes * developmental and growth delay * athletic muscular built * skeletal anomalies * joint stiffness * characteristic facial appearance * deafness * variable cognitive deficits * tracheal stenosis * aortic stenosis * pyloric stenosis The facial abnormalities include: * blepharophimosis (an abnormally narrow gap between the upper and lower eyelids) * maxillary hypoplasia (underdevelopment of the upper jaw) * prognathism (prominent lower jaw) The skeletal abnormalities include: * short stature * square body shape * broad ribs * iliac hypoplasia * brachydactyly * flattened vertebrae * thickened calvaria Congenital heart disease and undescended testes have also been reported in association with this syndrome. Wenche Synnøve Myhre (born 15 February 1947), known in some countries as Wencke Myhre, is a Norwegian singer who has had a great number of hit songs since the 1960s in the Norwegian, Danish, German and Swedish markets and languages. Early career Myhre was born in Kjelsås, Oslo. She got her first recording contract with composer and producer Arne Bendiksen at the age of 13, after winning a talent contest staged by ''Verdens Gang'' newspaper at the Chat Noir theatre in Oslo in 1960. In 1963 she became the first performer to have three songs in the Top 10 at the same time. She got her first film role the same year. Vera Myhre née Eliasen (1920–2000) was a Danish painter and graphic artist. Her works can be seen in a number of museums and galleries, both in Denmark and abroad. She was the first woman to become president of the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 1975. Early life and education Born on 25 July 1920 in Copenhagen, Vera Eliasen was the daughter of the wine merchant Oskar Eliasen (1892–1969) and Eva Barham (1891–1980). Thomas Harald Myhre (born 16 October 1973) is a Norwegian football manager and former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He is currently the manager of Moss. The last club he played for before his retirement was Kongsvinger, having returned to Norwegian football in July 2007. Petter Myhre (born 21 February 1972) is a retired Norwegian footballer and current assistant coach for Lillestrøm. During his active career he played for Strømmen IF, Ullern IF and Skjetten SK. He also took education at the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences. From 2002 he coached the junior team and reserves team of Vålerenga, and also played sporadic matches. He was promoted to assistant coach of the first team in 2006, and mid-season he was promoted to head coach. He lasted until July 2007. Biography After a short study of graphical design at the Santa Monica College of Art in California, Lise Myhre started her career as an artist, earning money illustrating CD covers and T-shirts.
