Petter Myhre
Petter Myhre (born 21 February 1972) is a retired Norwegian footballer and current assistant coach for Lillestrøm. During his active career he played for Strømmen IF, Ullern IF and Skjetten SK. He also took education at the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences. From 2002 he coached the junior team and reserves team of Vålerenga, and also played sporadic matches. He was promoted to assistant coach of the first team in 2006, and mid-season he was promoted to head coach. He lasted until July 2007. Ahead of the 2009 season he was named as co-coach of Strømmen IF together with Thomas Berntsen. On 24 January 2020 Myhre became assistant coach for Lillestrøm Lillestrøm is a municipality in Viken county. It is located in the traditional district of Romerike. Strømmen Idrettsforening is a Norwegian sports club from Strømmen. It has sections for football, athletics and gymnastics, and formerly had sections for bandy, orienteering, skiing, speed skating, swimming among other sports. History The club was founded on 25 September 1911 as ''Strømmen FK''. The name was changed to ''FK Norrøna'' in 1914. In 1923 the club merged with ''Strømmen IL'' and took the name ''IL Norrøna''. In 1935 it incorporated the club ''Strømmen BK'', founded in the 1920s, and reverted its name back to ''Strømmen FK''. Ullern is a borough of the city of Oslo, Norway. History The borough has its name from an old farm, Norse ''Ullarin''. The first element is the genitive case of the name of the Norse god Ullr. The last element is ''vin'', meaning pasture or meadow. In Medieval times, the farm belonged to the monastery at Hovedøya. Following the Reformation in 1536, the farmland was separated between the crown and the local canon. Formally divided into lower and upper Ullern in 1740, both farms were bought by Herman Severin Løvenskiold, in 1878 and 1866 respectively. Ullern Idrettsforening is a Norwegian multi-sports club from Ullern, Oslo. It has sections for association football, team handball, basketball, bandy and cheerleading. General history The club was founded in 1971 as a merger of the multi-sports club ''Liull'', the multi-sports club ''Bestum IF'' (founded 1914), the gymnastics club ''Lilleaker TF'' and ''Ullern Basket'' (founded 1956).
