Wencke Myhre
Wenche Synnøve Myhre (born 15 February 1947), known in some countries as Wencke Myhre, is a Norwegian singer who has had a great number of hit songs since the 1960s in the Norwegian, Danish, German and Swedish markets and languages. Early career Myhre was born in Kjelsås, Oslo. She got her first recording contract with composer and producer Arne Bendiksen at the age of 13, after winning a talent contest staged by ''Verdens Gang'' newspaper at the Chat Noir theatre in Oslo in 1960. In 1963 she became the first performer to have three songs in the Top 10 at the same time. She got her first film role the same year. Eurovision Myhre made her first appearance in the Norwegian heats for the Eurovision Song Contest 1964 with the song "God gammel firkantet vals" which the juries placed second. Kjelsås
Kjelsås, sometimes called Kjelsaas, is one of the northern neighbourhoods of Oslo situated in Nordre Aker, the northern borough of Oslo, Norway. History Together with Grefsen, Kjelsås was part of the borough ''Grefsen-Kjelsås'' until January 1 2004, when they both became part of the new borough of Nordre Aker. Grefsen and Kjelsås were also part of the former municipality of Aker before the second world war, when the City of Oslo was confined to today's central areas. Geography The district of Kjelsås offers ski jumps, slalom slopes and vast woodland areas for hiking. Lake Maridalsvannet, located close to the woodlands, provides Oslo with its drinking water and is also the source of the Akerselva river, (formerly Frysjaelven). Eurovision Song Contest 1986
The Eurovision Song Contest 1986 was the 31st edition of the annual Eurovision Song Contest. It was held in Bergen, Norway, following the country's victory at the with the song "La det swinge" by Bobbysocks! Organised by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and host broadcaster Norsk rikskringkasting (NRK), the contest was held at Grieghallen on 3 May 1986 and was hosted by previous Norwegian contestant Åse Kleveland. Twenty countries took part in this years contest with and deciding not to participate and and returning. also competed for the first time this year. The winner was with the song "J'aime la vie" by Sandra Kim. Belgium was the last of the original 7 countries that had competed in the very first contest to win. Pernilla Wahlgren
Pernilla Nina Elisabeth Wahlgren (born 24 December 1967) is a Swedish singer and actress. She has sung in Melodifestivalen several times; her 1985 entry titled " Piccadilly Circus" became popular and successful. She has acted in several plays and films, playing roles including Esmeralda in the Academy Award-winning ''Fanny and Alexander''. She has twice received the Guldmasken award for her work in theater. Career Acting Wahlgren's first acting job, at the age of four, was alongside her mother in the television play ''Den längsta dagen'' (). She attended Adolf Fredrik's Music School and was also part of the Saltsjöbaden theater. Siw Gunnel Margareta Malmkvist (born 31 December 1936) is a Swedish schlager singer and actress popular in Scandinavia and West Germany. Germany was represented by Inge Brück, with the song "Anouschka", at the 1967 Eurovision Song Contest, which took place on 8 April in Vienna. As in 1966 the German entry was chosen internally, rather than through a public final, by broadcaster HR. Before Eurovision Internal selection 145 songs were submitted to the selection. A jury presided by Hans-Otto Grünefeldt, TV program director of HR, selected "Anouschka" at the Broadcasting House Dornbusch, the site which also served as venue for the Eurovision Song Contest 1957. Inge Brück
Inge Brück (born 12 October 1936) is a German singer and actress, best known internationally for her participation in the Eurovision Song Contest 1967. Brück began her singing career with the Erwin Lehn Dance Orchestra, where she was noticed by pianist Horst Jankowski, who arranged a television appearance with Hans-Joachim Kulenkampff, following which she was offered a recording contract. In 1957, she had a hit with "", a version of "Green Door", which reached No. 7 in the German chart. In the late 1950s and early 1960s, she made numerous TV appearances, appeared in stage musicals and toured with orchestras including those of Jankowski and Hazy Osterwald. Following a 1966 victory in an International Song Festival in Brazil, Brück was selected by broadcaster NDR to be the German representative in the 1967 Eurovision Song Contest. Anders Erik Gillis Eljas (born 15 January 1953 in Stockholm) is a Swedish musician, orchestrator and conductor. Biography He was educated at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm, where he studied piano and violin, began his musical career at Alexandra's and soon toured as keyboardist with Björn Skifs and on ''ABBA's'' world tours.
