Musquaro River
The River Musquaro flows south in the municipality of Côte-Nord-du-Golfe-du-Saint-Laurent, Quebec, in the Le Golfe-du-Saint-Laurent Regional County Municipality, in the administrative region of Côte-Nord (North-Shore), in Quebec, in Canada. Geography The river basin covers . It lies between the basins of the Kegaska River to the west and the Musquanousse River to the east. Havre-Saint-Pierre
Havre-Saint-Pierre is a town on Pointe-aux-Esquimaux, which is on the Quebec north shore (Côte-Nord) of the Saint Lawrence River in Canada. Northwest Company
The North West Company was a fur trading business headquartered in Montreal from 1779 to 1821. It competed with increasing success against the Hudson's Bay Company in what is present-day Western Canada and Northwestern Ontario. La Romaine, Quebec
La Romaine, also known as Unamenshipit in Innu-aimun, is an Innu First Nations reserve in the Côte-Nord region of Quebec, Canada, at the mouth of the Olomane River on the Gulf of Saint Lawrence. It belongs to the Innu band of Unamen Shipu. Being an enclave within the Municipality of Côte-Nord-du-Golfe-du-Saint-Laurent, it is geographically within Le Golfe-du-Saint-Laurent Regional County Municipality but administratively not part of it. Musquanousse River
The Musquanousse River (french: Rivière Musquanousse) is a salmon river in the Côte-Nord region of Quebec, Canada. It flows south and empties into the Gulf of Saint Lawrence. Location The Musquanousse River is long from its source. It forms as a stream that drains Lake Musquanousse, which is long and wide. The river then traces an erratic path through many lakes, including Lake Marie-Claire, Lake Des Outardes and Lake Missu before flowing for about to the Gulf.
