ICF Coach
The Integral Coach Factory (ICF) coach was a conventional passenger coach used on the majority of main-line trains in India. The design of the coach was developed by Integral Coach Factory, Perambur, Chennai, India in collaboration with the Swiss Car & Elevator Manufacturing Co, Schlieren, Switzerland in the 1950s. The design is also called the ''Schlieren design'' based on the location of the Swiss company. The 1st ICF coach had been flagged by then Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru on 2 October 1955. The 12921/12922 ''Flying Ranee'' is a superfast express train belonging to Indian Railways that runs between (MMCT) and (ST) in India. It is a daily service. It operates as train number 12922 from Surat to Mumbai Central and as train number 12921 in the reverse direction. Electric Loco Shed, Valsad is an electric engine shed located in Valsad, in the Indian state of Gujarat. It is located to south of Valsad railway station, it falls under the Mumbai WR railway division of Western Railway. It is the largest of locomotive sheds in the Western Railway zone. History It was established in the 1970s specifically to home dual-power locos. It holds more than 50 WAG-5 class locomotives. Post AC conversion of Western Railway, few WAG-5, and all WCAM-2 fleet were transferred to Central Railway's Kalyan Loco Shed. WCAM-1 were slowly condemned. The shed received WAG-7 in 2013. The shed houses over 100 electric locomotives. The Indian locomotive class WAG-5 is a class of 25 kV AC electric locomotives that was developed in 1978 by Chittaranjan Locomotive Works for Indian Railways. The model name stands for broad gauge (W), alternating current (A), goods traffic (G) engine, 5th generation (5). They entered service in 1980. A total of 1196 WAG-5 were built at CLW and BHEL between 1978 and 1998, which made them the most numerous class of mainline electric locomotive till its successor the WAG-7. The Indian locomotive class WAP-4 is a class of 25 kV AC electric locomotives that was developed in 1993 by Chittaranjan Locomotive Works for Indian Railways.
