Moyle Park College
Moyle Park College is a secondary school in Clondalkin, South Dublin, Ireland. The school was established by the Marist Brothers in 1957, and grew alongside the population of the local area. As of the school year 2017, no more Marist Brothers taught in the school. In 2007 Moyle Park College celebrated its Golden Jubilee. On 13 October a ceremony was held in the sports hall to mark the occasion. This was attended by the then President of Ireland Mary McAleese who also opened the Golden Jubilee Garden. Palmerstown
Palmerstown (; officially Palmerston, see spelling) is a civil parish and suburb in western Dublin on the banks of the River Liffey. It forms part of the South Dublin local authority and the Dublin Mid-West parliamentary constituency. Aidomo Emakhu (born 26 October 2003) is an Irish professional footballer who plays for English club Millwall, as a forward. Early life Emakhu is from Bawnogue in Clondalkin. Brian Ormond (born 8 August 1979) is an Irish television presenter, businessman and reality TV star. Kenny Egan
Kenneth "Kenny" Egan (born 7 January 1982) is an Irish politician and boxer from Clondalkin, Dublin best known for winning a silver medal in the final of the 81 kg, Light-Heavyweight boxing final at the 2008 Olympics. He won the European Gold Medal in the 2008 Athens Olympic Qualifiers and a European Bronze Medal in 2006 and 2010 at Light-heavyweight. He was elected to South Dublin County Council for Fine Gael in the 2014 local elections. Career Egan currently fights out of the Neilstown Boxing Club that is based in Dublin. Jack Sheedy (Gaelic Footballer)
Jack Sheedy is a former Gaelic footballer who played for the Dublin-based club Lucan Sarsfields and for the Dublin county team. Playing career Sheedy made his Championship debut for Dublin against Meath in the first round of the Leinster Senior Football Championship in 1991, after having been a panellist on the Dublin team beaten by Kerry in 1984. The series famously finished after four games (three replays), with Dublin losing by a point. He scored a goal in the opening game against Meath and finished the series with 1-03. He went on to win five Leinster championships with Dublin in 1984,1992, 1993, 1994 and 1995. Clondalkin
Clondalkin ( ; ) is a suburban town situated 10 km south-west of Dublin city centre, Ireland, under the administrative jurisdiction of South Dublin. Jim Gavin (footballer)
Jim Gavin (born 1 July 1971) is an Irish List of Gaelic football managers, Gaelic football manager and former Gaelic football, player. He was the manager of the senior Dublin county football team, Dublin county team from 2012 to 2019, becoming the county's most successful manager in terms of major titles won. Gavin is regarded as one of the best Manager (Gaelic games), managers in the modern game.
