Monster (EP)
''Monster'' is the debut extended play by Red Velvet – Irene & Seulgi, the first sub-unit of South Korean girl group Red Velvet. It was released on July 6, 2020, by SM Entertainment, with Dreamus serving as the South Korea distributor. The EP contains six tracks, including the title track of the same name and a follow-up single " Naughty". Background and release On April 21, 2020, SM Entertainment confirmed that Irene and Seulgi would form Red Velvet's first sub-unit and that the duo was in preparation for their first major release in around June 2020. The release of the mini album was postponed from June 15 to July 6, 2020, on the grounds that it needed additional production on the album, in order to achieve a higher quality of music. The physical release contains two different versions with a CD, a photo booklet, a lyric book and collectibles. Cosmos Music, formerly Bonnier Amigo Music Group (BAMG), is an independent record company based in Stockholm, Sweden. Bonnier Amigo Music Group was formed in 2001 when the record company and distributor Amigo Musik merged with the record company Bonnier Music. The UK Album Downloads Chart is compiled by the Official Charts Company (OCC) on behalf of the music industry. Since July 2015, the chart week runs from Friday to Thursday, with the chart date given as the following Thursday. The chart was introduced in April 2006 to coincide with the OCC's decision to include sales of album downloads in the UK Albums Chart. The Circle Chart (), previously known as the Gaon Music Chart or the Gaon Chart (), tabulates the relative weekly popularity of songs and albums in South Korea. It is produced by the Korea Music Content Association and sponsored by South Korea's Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Founded in 2010. Ultratop is an organization which generates and publishes the official record charts in Belgium. Ultratop is a non-profit organization, created on the initiative of the Belgian Entertainment Association (BEA), the Belgian member organization of the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry. She is the leader of the South Korean girl group Red Velvet and a member of its sub-unit Red Velvet - Irene & Seulgi. Early life Irene was born Bae Joo-hyun on March 29, 1991, in Daegu, South Korea. Black Beat
Black Beat (블랙 비트) was a South Korean boy band formed by SM Entertainment. The five-member group released an album ''Volume 1 - Black Beat #2002'' in 2002. They have not promoted as a group since SM Town 2006. Several members are active as choreographers and vocal trainers for other SM Entertainment artists. In 2007, lead vocalist Jang Jin-young teamed up with Kim Sung-pil to form the R&B duo, ByJinSung. Black Beat was originally planned to be formed as a seven-member group before they debuted in 2000.
