Mohan Lall Shrimal
Mohan Lall Shrimal (born 4 January 1923) is a former chief justice of Sikkim High Court. He hails from Jaipur in Rajasthan state in India. In 2001 he was awarded Maharana Mewar award. Shrimal was born in 1923 and was educated at Maharana Bhupal College, Udaipur, Christian College, Indore and Holkar College, Indore. Shrimal worked as Pleader of the Mewar High Court at Udaipur in the former Mewar State from 1948 and Advocate of the Rajasthan High Court at Jodhpur from 1951. Sikkim High Court
The Sikkim High Court is the High Court of the Indian state of Sikkim. The history of the court can be traced back to 1955, when the High Court of Judicature (Jurisdiction and Powers) Proclamation, 1955 was issued to establish a High Court in Sikkim. Upon merger, Sikkim became the 22nd State of India. Under Clause ''(i) of Article 371F'', the High Court functioning immediately prior to the date of merger became the High Court for the State of Sikkim under the Constitution like any other High Court in the country. It was established in 1975. The seat of the court is at Gangtok, the administrative capital of the state. With a sanctioned court strength of 3 judges, the Sikkim High Court is the smallest High Court of India. Mewar
Mewar or Mewad is a region in the south-central part of Rajasthan state of India. It includes the present-day districts of Bhilwara, Chittorgarh, Pratapgarh, Rajsamand, Udaipur, Pirawa Tehsil of Jhalawar District of Rajasthan, Neemuch and Mandsaur of Madhya Pradesh and some parts of Gujarat. For centuries, the region was ruled by Rajputs. The princely state of Udaipur emerged as an administrative unit during the period of British East India Company governance in India and remained until the end of the British Raj era. Rajasthan High Court
The Rajasthan High Court is the High Court of the state of Rajasthan. It was established on 29 August 1949 under the ''Rajasthan High Court Ordinance, 1949''. The seat of the court is at Jodhpur. The court has a sanctioned judge strength of 50. There were five High Courts functioning in the various units of the States - at Jodhpur, Jaipur and Bikaner, the High Courts of former Rajasthan and Matsya Union, before unification of the Rajasthan. The Rajasthan High Court Ordinance, 1949 abolished these different jurisdictions and provided for a single High Court for the entire State.
