Mohammad Ridoy (Bengali: মোহাম্মাদ হৃদয়; born 1 January 2002) is a Bangladeshi professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Bangladesh Premier League club Abahani Limited Dhaka and the Bangladesh national team. Early career Mohammad Ridoy was born on 1 January 2002, in Narayanganj District of Bangladesh. He started his football career in the Narayanganj Rainbow Academy under coach Zakir Hossain. In 2014, he came to Dhaka to participate in the Pioneer Football League with Jurain Football Academy. Club career Starting from Rainbow AC in the Third Division League, Ridoy progressed through Purbachal Parishad in the Second Division League, and Friends Social Welfare Organization in the Senior Division League of Dhaka. 2021 SAFF Championship
The 2021 SAFF Championship, known as Ooredoo SAFF Championship 2021 for sponsorship reasons, was the thirteenth edition of the SAFF Championship, the biennial international men's football championship of South Asia organised by South Asian Football Federation (SAFF). Initially, it was decided to be hosted by Pakistan in 2020, but was postponed to September 2021 in Bangladesh. Kazi Md. Salahuddin ( bn, কাজী সালাউদ্দিন; born 23 September 1953) is a Bangladeshi former football player currently serving as a president of South Asian Football Federation. He was a member of the Shadhin Bangla Football Team, the team which played across India to raise funds during the Bangladesh Liberation War in 1971. Salahuddin is the first professional football player from the country to play abroad in the professional league in Hong Kong and considered to be one of Bangladesh's most famous football players. He was a member of the Bangladesh national football team, retiring in 1980. The BFF U-18 Football Tournament is a youth club football tournament in Bangladesh founded in 2014 that are managed, organized and controlled by the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF). History The tournament was established in 2014, in order for Bangladesh Premier League (football), Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) clubs to develop young players. With each team playing in the BPL during that specific season fielded their U18 players.
