Mohamed Farhad
Mohamed Farhad (18 sep 1999) is a Maldivian singer. Early life and career Farhad was born on 25 June 1982 in Th. Madifushi. Since childhood, he was exposed to music of several genres which leads him to perform in the stage shows held in some of the occasions. In 2005, he performed the track "Jahanvaane Athaa Athaa" for the album ''Yaahabeys'' (2005) which was ultimately included in Mohamed Abdulla's comedy short film series, '' Falhi Sikunthu 2'' (2005). He then collaborated with Abdulla for several other projects including the '' Farihibe'' series. In 2009, he auditioned for a local television singing show, ''Maldivian Icon'' where he got selected as the second runner-up of the competition, which resulted in him further expanding his career as a singer with several offers from music directors and producers. Mohamed Abdul Ghanee
Mohamed Abdul Ghanee (born 15 April 1978), commonly known as Theyravaa is a Maldivian singer and songwriter. Early life and career Born to a musical family, Ghanee had no interest in music even when his siblings spend their time in jamming and singing. While studying at Madhrasathul Ifthithaah, he participated in the Inter-house singing competition, on a request by his elder brother. His performance was well noted by judges and received several prizes. The success was followed by his next performance, the song "Theyravaa" which caught the attention of a member from the local music band Zero Degree Atoll, who insisted him to perform a different version of the song in the ''Fannaanunge Muzikee Eid Show'' (1992). VTV is the second private TV channel of the Maldives. It was inaugurated in 2008. The channel is run under the umbrella of V Media Group which include VFM, Veekly and VNews. Fathimath Rauf
Fathimath Rauf (7 October 1959) is a Maldivian singer. Early life and career Fathimath Rauf was born and raised in the "Masodi family" where several local artists emerged as prominent singers. At the age of thirteen, as insisted by her father, Rauf performed a song on the stage which caught the attention of the audience. Music directors realized her potential and roped in to sing for their projects which enabled her to "rise to fame" during her career beginning. While working at Dhivehi Raajjeyge Adu, she joined the local band "Olympians" and became a prominent face in their stage shows. Hussain Sobah (11 November 1972) is a Maldivian film actor, music composer and playback singer. Career In 1995, Sobah featured in Mohamed Shiyaz's '' Dhushman'' alongside Mariyam Nisha, Aminath Rasheedha and Hamid Ali in pivotal roles. Hassan Ilham is a Maldivian singer.
