Miss Grand Nepal 2022
Miss Grand Nepal 2022 was the fourth edition of Miss Grand Nepal beauty pageant, co-organized by Izodom Nepal, Cosmo Group, and Bolly Club Group, held on 10 September 2022 at Hotel Shanker in Kathmandu. Fourteen national candidates, directly chosen by the central organizer through an online application and the audition round, competed for the title, of whom, Aishworya Shrestha from Bagmati Province was named the winner and then represented the country at Miss Grand International 2022 held on October 25, in Indonesia, but she got a non-placement. In addition to the event organized by the Izodom Nepal group, another pageant with the same title, held in August 2022 by a former Miss Grand Nepal licensee, RK Entertainment Group, has been observed. Aishworya Shrestha
Aishworya Shrestha (born 26 November 1997) is a Nepalese pageant titleholder as Miss Grand Nepal 2022. She represented Nepal in Miss Grand International 2022. She is a Nepali social worker and activist known for her work in establishing impactful grassroots programs related to mental health, education, women's empowerment, and civic engagement. Early life and Education Shrestha was born in Kathmandu, Nepal around 1997. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Social Work and English from St. Xavier's College, Nepal in 2017, and a Master's degree in Social Work from Tribhuvan University in 2020, with a thesis focused on gender-based violence. As a student, Shrestha engaged in research on issues like child exploitation in brick kilns and gender-based violence. Her paper is published in multiple journals, including a publication on gbv and climate education using technology. COVID-19 Pandemic In Nepal
The COVID-19 pandemic in Nepal is part of the worldwide pandemic of coronavirus disease 2019 () caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (). Jhapa District
Jhapa ( ne, झापा जिल्ला; ) is a district of Province No. 1 in eastern Nepal named after a Rajbanshi word "Jhapa" meaning "to cover" (verb). Dolakha District
Dolakha, often known as Dolkha or Dholkha (Nepal Bhasa:दोलखा जिल्ला)), a part of Bagmati Province, is one of the seventy-seven districts of Nepal. Miss Tourism International is an annual international beauty pageant run and owned by Malaysia–based D’Touch International Sdn. Bhd. Foundation. The current Miss Tourism International is Suphatra Kliangprom from Thailand. She was crowned on November 25, 2022.
