''Meri Teri Kahani'' ( ur, , lit=The Story of Me and You) is a Pakistani sitcom created by Television host Mani and produced by Coconut Pakistan Productions. It originally aired on ARY Digital in 2013 for one season and then on HUM Network for an additional season in 2014. The show stars celebrity couple Mani and Hira as fictionalized versions of themselves. Meri Teri Kahani was noted for having the highest production value in its genre in Pakistan and for high appreciation among its target audiences of upper and middle classes. History Originally Mani and ARY Digital CEO Jerjees Seja wanted to develop a sitcom inspired by Curb Your Enthusiasm. Essa Khan was approached to further develop the idea and write the pilot script. Salman Saqib Sheikh ( ur, ), credited as Mani, is a Pakistani film and television actor, politician and host. Mani is mostly known for his comic roles. He started his career as a junior anchor and host before becoming a sitcom and comedy actor. He is known for his roles in Meri Teri Kahani, Bandish and the telefilm Dil Toh Bacha Hai.
