Matt Rahn
Matthew Rahn (born January 14, 1982) is a retired American football player and since 2020, the acting head coach of the College of DuPage Chaparrals football team. College career Rahn attended the College of DuPage, where he was a member of the football team. His play earned him a scholarship to Hastings College in Nebraska. Professional career Chicago Slaughter In 2007, Rahn began playing professionally for the Chicago Slaughter of the Continental Indoor Football League. The Slaughter was in its inaugural season led by ex- Chicago Bears player, Steve McMichael. Rahn played nose tackle. Offensive Lineman
In gridiron football, a lineman is a player who specializes in play at the line of scrimmage. The linemen of the team currently in possession of the ball are the offensive line, while linemen on the opposing team are the defensive line. A number of NFL rules specifically address restrictions and requirements for the offensive line, whose job is to help protect the quarterback from getting sacked for a loss, or worse, fumbling. Ultimate Indoor Football League
The Ultimate Indoor Football League (UIFL) was a regional professional indoor football league that began its inaugural season on February 18, 2011 as the Ultimate Indoor Football League before playing as the United Indoor Football League in 2012, then switched back to "Ultimate" for the 2013 season. After the 2014 season, the league merged with X-League Indoor Football. History On February 18, 2011, the first-ever UIFL game was played between the Saginaw Sting and the Eastern Kentucky Drillers. The inaugural game was held at the Dow Event Center in Saginaw, Michigan. Cincinnati Commandos
The Cincinnati Commandos were a professional indoor football team based in Cincinnati, Ohio. The team suspended operations for the 2013 season, with hope of returning in 2014. They began play in 2010 as an expansion team in the Continental Indoor Football League before moving to the United Indoor Football League in 2012. The Commandos then left the UIFL after winning Ultimate Bowl II and re-joined the CIFL, but never took the field after its announcement. Steve McMichael
Stephen Douglas McMichael (born October 17, 1957), nicknamed "Mongo", "Ming" and "Ming the Merciless", is an American former professional football player, sports broadcaster, and professional wrestler. McMichael played college football for the University of Texas at Austin and was an All-American. Professionally, he played in the National Football League (NFL) for the New England Patriots, Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers as a defensive tackle, winning Super Bowl XX with the Bears in January 1986. Champions Bowl I was the inaugural title game of Champions Indoor Football. It was played on June 20, 2015, at the Tyson Events Center in Sioux City, Iowa.
