Marta Jandová
Marta Verner (née Jandová; born 13 April 1974) is a Czech singer, best known for being the lead singer of the German alternative rock band Die Happy. She represented the Czech Republic in the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 along with Václav Noid Bárta with the song "Hope Never Dies". Biography Marta Jandová is the daughter of the Czech musician Petr Janda, the solo-guitarist and singer of the band Olympic, which was one of the first and most popular rockbands in Czechoslovakia. In September 1993, Jandová moved to Ulm, Germany. Soon after her arrival, despite speaking only a little bit of German, she was asked by guitarist Thorsten Mewes to sing in a new band. A few months later, they had their first gigs as Die Happy and she has been the leadsinger of the band ever since. ''Hlas Česko Slovenska'' (Czech and Slovak for ''The Czech / Slovak Voice'', literally ''The Voice of Czecho Slovakia'') is a reality singing competition and version of ''The Voice of Holland'' for Czech Republic and Slovakia. It is part of the international syndication ''The Voice'' based on the reality singing competition launched in the Netherlands, created by Dutch television producer John de Mol. SuperStar (Czech And Slovak TV Series)
''SuperStar'' (previously known as ''ÄŒesko Slovenská SuperStar'') is a joint Czech- Slovak version of the Idol series' ''Pop Idol''. It was merged from '' ÄŒesko hledá SuperStar'' and '' SuperStar Search Slovakia'', which previously had three individual seasons each. The first season premiered in September 2009 with castings held in Prague, Brno, Bratislava and KoÅ¡ice. It is broadcast on two channels: « TV Nova» (Czech Republic) and «MarkÃza» (Slovakia) which have also been the broadcast stations for the individual seasons. Revolverheld
Revolverheld (German for "gunslinger") is a German rock band from Hamburg, Germany. Originally formed under the name Manga in 2002, the band renamed in 2004 to "Tsunamikiller" and later decided upon the current name after the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake. Band history Revolverheld began their career as a supporting act for Donots, Silbermond and Udo Lindenberg. They first started gathering public attention with their song "Rock n' Roll", which then led to a Coaching Program in the Pop-Academy Baden-Württemberg. Then in 2004 they were signed by the record label Sony BMG. Their first single called "Generation Rock" was released in June 2005 and directly entered the German Charts. In Extremo (Latin for ''At the Edge''; abbreviated InEx or IE) is a German Medieval metal band originating from Berlin. The band's musical style combines metal with Medieval traditional songs, blending the sound of the standard rock/metal instruments with historical instruments (such as bagpipes, harp, hurdy-gurdy and shawm). Versions of well-known traditional/Medieval ballads make up the main part of their repertoire, but the band has written an increasing share of original material in recent years.
