Maceió
Maceió (), formerly sometimes Anglicised as Maceio, is the capital and the largest city of the coastal state of Alagoas, Brazil. The name "Maceió" is an Indigenous term for a spring. Most maceiós flow to the sea, but some get trapped and form lakes ("lagoas", in Portuguese). There are numerous maceiós and lakes in this part of Brazil; because of this, the city was named Maceió, and the state, Alagoas. The new Zumbi dos Palmares International Airport connects Maceió with many Brazilian cities and also operates some international flights. The city is home to the Federal University of Alagoas. Pajuçara
Pajuçara is a beach and a neighborhood in Maceió, capital of Alagoas, in Brazil. The Estádio Severiano Gomes Filho is located in the neighborhood. This beach is approximately 2 km from downtown. It is a calm water beach thanks to the reefs, which make it safe for swimming, especially for children. Near the arts and crafts fair in Pajuçara is also where the rafts leave for the natural pools formed by choral reefs, where the tourist will find floating bar (establishment), bars. The Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) is the governing body of the men's professional tennis circuits – the ATP Tour, the ATP Challenger Tour and the ATP Champions Tour. It was formed in September 1972 by Donald Dell, Jack Kramer, and Cliff Drysdale to protect the interests of professional tennis players, and Drysdale became the first President. Clay courts are made of crushed stone, brick, shale, or other unbound mineral aggregate depending on the tournament. The French Open uses clay courts, the only Grand Slam tournament to do so. The ATP Tour is a worldwide top-tier tennis tour for men organized by the Association of Tennis Professionals. Tomás Carbonell Lladó (born 7 August 1968) is a former professional tennis player from Spain. Carbonell won 2 singles and 22 doubles titles on the ATP Tour in his career. Christian Carlos Miniussi Ventureira (born 5 July 1967) is a former tennis player from Argentina. Miniussi turned professional in 1984. He started playing tennis at the Adrogué Tennis Club and he also represented his native country as a lucky loser at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, where he was defeated in the first round by France's Fabrice Santoro. Gabriel Markus (born 31 March 1970) is a former professional tennis player from Argentina. Career A clay court specialist, Markus was a quarter-finalist in the Boys' Singles event at the 1987 French Open and at his best was ranked second in the Argentine junior rankings. The right-handed player made the fourth round of the US Open in 1991, the furthest he would reach in a Grand Slam. Along the way he defeated Diego Nargiso, Stefano Pescosolido and Jan Siemerink. At the 1992 French Open he memorably pushed second seed Stefan Edberg to five sets in the second round, but was unable to register a win. John Sobel
John Sobel (born February 15, 1964) is a former professional tennis player from the United States. Career Sobel was seen mostly on the doubles circuit. He appeared in three Grand Slam (tennis), Grand Slam events during his career. In the men's doubles he played with Ville Jansson at the 1990 US Open (tennis), 1990 US Open and Slobodan Živojinović in the 1992 Australian Open. As a mixed doubles player he took part in the 1990 French Open, partnering Lise Gregory. On each occasion, Sobel and his partner were eliminated in the opening round.
