National Polytechnical Museum
The National Polytechnical Museum ( bg, Национален политехнически музей) is a science museum located in Sofia, Bulgaria. History The National Polytechnical Museum was established on 13 May 1957 by a Council of Ministers decree, initially under the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. It was declared a national museum in 1968. Since 1992, the museum is located in a building formerly used as a museum to Georgi Dimitrov. It has been completely renovated in 2012 at a cost of 640,000 lv (326,000 euro). The National Polytechnical Museum regularly participates in the annual Night of Museums. Collections The museum has a collection of more than 22,000 items, but only 1,000 of them are permanently displayed. Kroppedal is a cultural-historical and astronomical museum in Vridsløsemagle from Copenhagen, Denmark. Plzeň (; German and English: Pilsen, in German ) is a city in the Czech Republic. Techmania Science Center
Techmania Science Center is one of the first science centers in the Czech Republic and an important institution of informal education. The project was established in 2005 by the Škoda Transportation joint-stock company and the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen. The intention has been to build up a modern, interactive center (often known as a science center) in the industrial estate of the Škoda company. The mission of Techmania is to help the public, especially young people, to get more familiar with science, technology and with the development of human knowledge in general. Another goal is to point out the unanswered questions for which the next generation, the young visitors of the science center, will find answers. National Technical Museum (Prague)
The National Technical Museum ( cs, Národní technické muzeum) (NTM) in Prague is the largest institution dedicated to preserving information and artifacts related to the history of technology in the Czech Republic. The museum has large exhibits representing approximately 15% of its total collection. The museum also manages substantial archives consisting of approximately 3,500 linear shelf meters of archival material and about 250,000 books. The museum was founded in 1908 and has been in its current location (adjacent to Letná Park) since 1941.
